“There are 3 gas stations that I fill up at going to and from work. The lowest price always wins and this gas station is usually the winner. They also have home heating oil at a separate pump if you are ever running low.”

“Barb is amazing! She does the self pumping for us, and her energy is out of this world. She's that strong woman that we need out here. You can feel her genuine energy of living that damn simple life. Her energy gave me something I've been missing. Nonetheless she deserves a raise. She's a kickass women. “Honestly, I like this gas station since it's prices are usually cheaper than everywhere else. Just last week, they were 3.39 a gallon where others like Shell were 3.65. Still expensive haha, but definitely getting cheaper faster and more consistently than other locations. Staff inside is quick and easy to work with!”
“Usually has the lower priced gas in the nearby area. Clean inside, friendly customer service. Only downside is there is one way into and out of gas station, not many pumps small area lot size.”

“A sign here says it's Temporarily closed due to a fire. Atm is inside operating here ,and you can purchase alcohol on a different side of the store if you want. Staff is very friendly here plenty of snacks and good beverages. Great place to go giving it an 4 stars!! Thank you.”
“Only complaint was the subs in the cooler by the door. They come wrapped in the white paper so you can't see em. Claim to have lettuce, tomatoe, etc. Turns out they were just hard bread and a couple thin slices of lunch meat. Besides that tho, the place looks awesome, has a lot going on inside. Good selection. Etc”
“Nice stop for gas, drink and such. Only downfall is that if you win on a scratch off ticket there, chances are they will refuse to cash them, but yet will sell them. Pretty sure if the state lottery commission would know this, they would have a problem with that.
Other than that, decent place.”

“This place has everything you need from cigars to wraps. Great friendly people working here. Wide selection of tobacco and tubes. They do not have a diesel pump however. But their gas is the best to get in town. Not watered down and they have new pumps and new tanks that good their gas. Great little store to stop in. I'm in there almost everyday. I highly recommend this place”

“I live 2 blocks from this store. Needless to say, we visit several times a week. The staff is awesome! Have been since I moved here 5 years ago. Prices may be a little higher than other gas stations, but it isn’t enough to notice, let alone bring them down a star. It’s worth the extra 10 cents, for the familiar faces and laughs the staff brings.”
“Prices are equivalent to other gas stations in the area. Except they keep the gas a little cheaper. I miss the hot sandwiches ...
I still don't understand the PCB alcohol sales poster in the front...They do not sell alcohol. Those are the only reasons I gave 4 stars. It's not cheap to keep a gas station going. I for one.. understand and have seen the struggles of the ones running, leasing to own and practically living in their store.?”

“I stumbled upon this place because I was a tourist and needed some chap stick. Of course I was there during a huge festival and lines and crowds were EVERYWHERE. The staff was so kind to tell me exactly where the chapstick was so I wouldn't have to wander around through the crowd.
The staff here also allowed their bathroom open to the public and were very nice about it. The line was too long and I only needed chap stick anyway, but it really struck me how kind the staff were about the bathroom and how helpful they were in general despite being surrounded by a huge crowd and definitely overrun in the moment.

“I live close by and shop here daily. Gas, scratch offs, game cigarillos, milk, slushies, etc. I’ve purchased it all and I can definitely say their prices are extremely reasonable especially considering the prices at the surrounding gas stations are just too much for my blood. The cashiers are always pleasant and friendly and know exactly why I come in. The establishment is clean and has the best homemade hoagies around. Trust me Tommy’s ain’t it. Id rather buy a gas station hoagie. That should tell you something! So if you by any chance come across this review, please be sure to stop here and experience the best small town spot in Jim Thorpe!”

“We had just started on a trip from Allentown, PA to Syracuse, NY when we heard an odd sound when driving highway speeds. Turned out a metal protective shield under the car had come loose a bit and the air and road bumps caused it to keep hitting the ground making a scary noise. The owner and mechanic working there assured us we could continue on our trip after he removed the now road damaged plate. He said it will need to be replaced, but didn't hesitate to help us with no wait to the point of crawling under the car right where we pulled in on the hot macadam. We asked what we owed him and he refused any payment and wished us well on our journey. He couldn't know how much this trip meant to us, but he literally saved us from having to turn back home. I can't say enough good things about him. If I lived closer, I would use his service station regularly!!”
