“The pharmacists, techs, and entire pharmacy staff have stepped it up since Rite Aid closed. I like the new check in screens to expedite the process (but can see how it may not be for everyone). The people who work here are non-stop! They deal with the worst systems in America (drug suppliers, insurance companies), struggle with crappy technology, and on top of it have grumpy, sick, customers to put up with. I have been a customer for years and with multiple chronic conditions plus three kids- I’m probably in here twice a month for meds. They have helped me navigate supply issues, injection malfunctions, expedited medication requests to alleviate symptoms asap, etc. The new messaging system makes it easier to communicate (they call you back- really!). But people need to be patient - or just go into the store to communicate . I appreciate everything this pharmacy team has done to keep my family healthy and get what we need to feel our best.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
