Yun Nan Rice Noodles

My husband and I went to Yun Nan for lunch today. We were greeted bye the hostess/server as soon as we entered the restaurant. She was very friendly and welcoming and seated us immediately. We were given menus and water and she came back to get our orders after only a few minutes. We ordered the kimchi noodle soup and the coconut curry noodle soup. The kimchi soup was fairly sour and a little spicy. The coconut curry soup wasn't really coconutty, but had a nice curry flavour with a little bit of spice. We both really enjoyed our dishes. This is the typical Yunnan 'crossing the bridge' noodle soup which has the toppings on the side. It's always a fun experience to put your toppings in the soup by yourself, especially when the soup is piping hot. We would definitely visit again.
