Toutou Village
6274 Av. Somerled, MontréalPingu had a great time with Toutou Village! Although he is only 14 months old, his size and unwillingness to wash himself left us with few options after daily visits to a dog park. Fortunately, Toutou Village was gentle, efficient, and kind; Pingu will return soon and often thanks to Hamid and his team's great care. Thank you Toutou Village!

Mrs. Meadys
221 Rue Chabanel O, MontréalJust got my order — thank you again. I always tell everyone to get their dog food from you because it’s truly the best.
I’m probably the pickiest person on earth when it comes to my dogs. I’ve tried so many raw dog-food companies over the years, and I can’t even count how many times I had to return orders because of freezer burn, brown meat inside, or just plain gross quality. With you, I never have to worry about that. Ever. The consistency and freshness are always perfect.
The variety of meat you offer is amazing too. I actually just ordered the salmon ones for Deejay to try, and of course they’re incredible quality — he absolutely devours them.
I’m genuinely so happy with the quality of your food. It’s the best I’ve ever found, and Deejay never gets tired of it. He gets excited for every single meal.
Just wanted to say thank you and share how much I appreciate what you do.

Pet Grooming

Toilettage Felinus Inc
3554 R. Notre Dame O, MontréalTruly an excellent experience. I brought my elderly aunt's long-haired rascal to be shaved because he'd built up some knots, and while she was doubtful anyone would be able to shave him without earning a few battle scars, I'm happy to say I've never seen him so well behaved.
From the moment we had him out of the crate, they were attentive to his needs and kept a watchful eye on him throughout the whole process. His nails were trimmed in seconds (a harrowing process requiring two people, lots of hissing, and plenty of growling at home) and he didn't make a peep. Shaving him was almost as simple and straightforward. He got slightly uppity when they got to his tail, but again, the staff knew exactly how to handle him, calming him down while they wrapped up the work quickly and efficiently.
I will absolutely be booking future appointments when the little guy needs it, and I highly recommend Felinus to anyone looking for a place where the staff are warm, professional, and clearly know what they're doing.

Zouvrac
828 Rue Rachel East, MontréalHas been my grooming spot for almost 4 years already. All the staff is nice but we loooove Lana! Impeccable service. She works very well, I don’t have a single complaint (and I am a picky customer!) She has amazing technique, eye for detail, and she always listens carefully to what you say/ask for. But most importantly, she treats my dog with such care and love that it shows in the result time after time :) You can tell that she loves her job and she cares deeply for animals just from how she greets you and your dog when you come in. Truly recommend!

Pet Care

Clinique Vétérinaire Plateau Mont Royal
119 Mont-Royal Ave W, MontrealAbsolutely love every interactions I had with them (over the phone or in person). The staff is so helpful, compasisonate, lovely and kind. The veterinarians & technicians are also really welcoming, lovely, experienced. You can really feel the love and respect they have for animals ✨️ & they are always willing to help with anything. I felt like all my questions were welcomed and the vet took his time to really answer and give me the necessary details about treatments, next steps, options available and explanations of diagnosis. The approach he used to simply connect with my fur babies before even going into their medical exam told me everything....They truly care. I was never rushed also which made the whole experience so lovely. Absolutely recommend them if you are looking for a vet clinic! They are probably the best in town in my opinion.

Considering the rareness of the situation and the surprise Trouble had in store for us, i wanted to thank the whole staff, DR, technicians and everyone else working there that were so kind and helpful during that difficult 3 month stretch.
Thankfully, all's well that ends well....

DOGGIEVILLE MTL
3824 Saint-Patrick Street, MontrealMy 6 lbs Yorkie loves Doggieville! He makes friends whenever we bring him for overnight stays. The staff is great, and we get pictures of our pup every day. The building is gorgeous, clean and extremely well maintained. We love it !!!

Centre Professionnel Canin
5992 Rue de Salaberry, MontréalI brought my overly anxious dog there with little expectation. Every trainer I tried before did not manage to connect with my dog. Karl worked magic with him. Not only did my dog transform into an obedient puppy (when he's not in his teenage crisis), the school is now one of the few places he feels totally safe! Karl even had various trainers work with him in order to grow his confidence. I will continue to bring my dog there for daily boarding, and I might even continue training sessions with Karl or any other employees of his that can work with him.
10/10 recommend (and I have done so to friends and coworkers)!

Hôtel MUZO
5525 Chem. de la Côte-Saint- Paul, MontréalWe left our dog Honey with them for 6 nights and we were very nervous about how she’ll react. (First time we leave her at a boarding).
When we came back she was super happy and cheerful. So much so that when we were leaving, she was pulling to go back.
And every time we go for a walk along the canal, she is always looking at the hotel and nudging to go back. So that tells me she had a wonderful experience there.
Thank you for taking care of her!

Bagels Le Trou - Griffintown
1845 Rue William, MontréalI’m from New York so I’ve had a lot of good bagels. I wanted to try a solid Montreal bagel and this place did not disappoint. The sesame bagel I had was crispy and chewy but light. I had the vegetarian sandwich version with a slice of havarti instead of feta - so good!! I loved the bagels so much I came back to take home half a dozen to freeze! They freeze well btw!

Salumi Vino
358 Notre-Dame St. East, MontrealCame here with my family this weekend while visiting Montreal from Toronto. The owner Mario provided exceptional service and gave us an outstanding wine recommendation. We loved it so much we had to order another bottle. Mario was very personable and made our experience great. His food recommendations were even better and they were able to accommodate my father who is gluten free. The food was great, I would definitely recommend the ravioli. Will absolutely be returning during our next visit. Thank you again Mario!

Restaurant Gus
38 Rue Beaubien East, MontréalWe made rsvp for dinner for my birthday here as we were visiting Montreal. We were booked for counter top and what a treat that was! Lovely and fun 26 top restaurant that’s only open starting Thursday evening!
Getting to see the food prepared and having Chef David come to the counter top to see how we were doing and nice chat during our dinner.
The staff was amazing and attentive - the bar made some tasty cocktails! Mezcal Negroni!!!!
For dinner (no pics):
Salmon tartar - amazing and well seasoned. Just an absolute delightful 1st bite! Must order
Caesar salad w/caviar topping is decadent! The Caesar has capers and lardons and wow! Rich creamy salty and the crunch of fresh romaine that is prepared by in a wooden bowl! Order and try a decadent Caesar!
Tomato salad with pesto, croutons, sliced chorizo and burrata - Heirloom tomatoes dressed in the pesto and topped with fresh basil - sweet, light, with richness from olive oil and the herbaceous pesto and the small bits of chorizo bring in the smokiness to bring in some richness! Definitely have to get if you’re a tomato person!!!
Entrees - we both went with specials:
Rare duck breast w/ beets & peaches and some baby carrots finished with some cognac - nice and rich the beets and peaches sort of turn into a cherry flavor that’s dark rich. It was good but I thought if there were some acid it would cut through the decadent flavors but bring it all together . Good dish!!!
Grilled sea bass with blanc sauce with hints of herbs and small potatoes and peppers- nice light grilled fish. The sauce was flavored well and brought the plate together! Another good dish!
Strawberry shortcake - trust me and ORDER THIS!
Chocolate cake with cream cheese topping - choco lovers delight!
Also the staff and chef are why you come here - just a friendly and local feel and just a sense of fun here! The staff is so attentive and lovely to converse with! Definitely visit here for great friendly restaurant/bistro where it seems everyone wants to know your name!!! Cheers Restaurant Gus and Chef David!!!
