Department Stores in Lasalle, QC

“I went to this Walmart Supercenter recently as someone told me about a deal for an Instant Pot with Air Fryer capabilities being sold at this Walmart for $100+taxes. When I went to my local Walmart, it was being sold for $230+taxes and Walmart.ca was selling it for $130+taxes. I went there on Saturday December 5 and they were following the new government directives about the maximum number of people based on the area of the establishment. Even though there wasn't a line and I was able to enter the store immediately, besides the greeter verifying that the person sanitized their hands when entering, there was someone there with a clicker counting the number of people entering. I don't know how this would work since people were exiting at another doorway which was far enough away that the person with the clicker near the entrance was not tracking the people leaving. This Walmart Supercenter is a nicer Walmart Supercenter than the one that I normally visit in Ville Saint-Laurent. I'm not just saying that because the Walmart in Ville Saint-Laurent was selling the Instant Pot for $230+taxes but this Walmart just seemed to be cleaner and better organized. This Walmart also has a McDonald's in it which the one in Ville Saint-Laurent doesn't. I managed to find the Instant Pot that I was looking for at the special sale price and went to the self checkout aisle to pay for the purchase. Once I paid, I went towards the area where I entered and noticed it was cordoned off so people had to exit at another door. I went to the exit and the security guard at the exit verified my bill as I left (as he did with others as well). As Walmart locations go (at least with the ones that I've visited), I would say that this one is one of the better ones on the island of Montreal so I will give them 5 stars. There might be better Walmart locations in Montreal but out of the 3 that I visit occasionally, the Walmart in Lasalle (on Newman) is at the top of my list. I'm comparing this Walmart with the one in Ville Saint-Laurent, the one near Namur metro, and the one in Plaza Cote-des-Neiges (and compared to those other 3 Walmart locations, this Walmart is very good).”

“This place is worth it. This Hudson Bay is inside the mall in LaSalle and it's worth the trip. I bought a nice shirt to go out with my friends to the clubs. It was on sale and it was exactly what I had imagined. Sure enough, I found it there in the bay. I also bought a nice dress shirt for the summer and a pair of shorts to match. If you look around a little bit you'll end up finding a deal and if it's not such a great deal at least it'll be exactly what you want. So the bay is always had good stuff. Most of it's really really ugly. But you end up finding what you need in this store. Somehow you have a date or a night out. This is the place to go to buy an item, the clothing item or accessory and mind you. I didn't really check their accessories, but they're clothing is really nice. So I'm assuming that the accessories are just as good. Really worth going anyways. I bought a shirt, a off-white dress sweater kind of and it was on sale and the brand was Jack and Jones I believe which is usually nice stuff. Good brand. So yeah like I was saying the bay is inside the mall in La salle and it's worth the trip. If you're going to go in that mall go into the bay you got to find something you like. They have everything so don't hesitate go for a walk. If you go in the mall and you by yourself a lottery, take a few minutes and drop by the bay, you'll find something you like. Treat yourself to a nice item by yourself. A nice shirt or a nice pair of shoes. You deserve it so don't hesitate get up. Get out. Go shopping. The bay is the place. You know it. I know it. “I always find what I'm looking for at Canadian Tire, the employees are much more present than in several other large, well-known chains by name!!! The return of items is the strength of Canadian Tire unlike other large chains no fuss with the invoice everything is taken back which makes purchases less stressful knowing that if the item is not up to par or defective it will be taken back.”

“I have shopped there about 20+ times over 10 years.We usually found what we wanted. Generally a good store.It is sad they closed down much of the automotive, as we bought batteries etc. regularly.Candy, is huge. Their Great Value Swiss 100 gram chocolate bars are a super bargain, with a great number of flavours including dark, orange, mint, white, hazel nut, almond, etc.Wow. One clerk marked down blueberry pies already discounted at ~$5 to something crazy like $2.95 in front of me. More wow.To all you purists, about "messes"- guess what? That''s from YOUR fellow shoppers! Stop complaining and reprimand thoughtless idiots YOU see opening a package, or leaving stuff anywhere but where it belongs.Coming from a shopper, I know- it does make an impression! And give Walmart an extra star... for being there, when you are!I used to own a retail store... Not always fun!”
