“Great concept! The store is magnificent and welcoming, filled with a great variety of fresh products. It is also very well located in the heart of old Beauharnois. It's worth the detour! You will also find lots of gift ideas for the holidays.Also, we had the chance to participate in a watercolor workshop that Marie-Pier organized with an artist from the city. I underline her gesture which both raises the profile of local artists who deserve this platform, but also which allows citizens to access great creative workshops (or others) at an affordable price in a very welcoming atmosphere! Hats off Marie! ?”
“Been going since their tiny location with the original owners. Always amazing place to visit, and have amazing meals at. The steak and Kidney pie is just amazing. Always super friendly and hospitable. Restaurant is such a memorable place as well.”

“Patient cashier, I had a large grocery item to pack, and I was creating congestion, I have already done large grocery items like in my photo but, despite some specials that I chose instead of something else, $430 . Some foods are made ridiculously expensive.”

The cashiers always take the time to give balloons to the kids. They even have small carts for kids to practice/learn grocery shopping. Niche and local products are on display. Just always an overall pleasant experience.”

I didn’t just get 2 big baskets I also received to small ones all within my budget.

“Big Maxi new and renovations completed and fully stocked. Big Kosher section includes Kosher Meats. Elevator not working to bring handicap or elderly up to bathrooms. Kosher section and butcher are gone, though there is some Kosher chicken.”

“Still more expensive than the Maxi but they have some products that i would buy nowhere else. For example, they have amazing people at the bakery who makes absolutely crazy cheese bacon bread. I'll always stop at this store just for this ahah. I also always buy my baguette there. They simply are the best.
Prices can be fairly good with flyers deals and usually, their fresh products looks better than the Maxi.
They also are one of the first store I saw that was highly discounting products close to "best before" dates to avoid spoiling food that would end up in the garbage. All stores should do this. I bought a pie 3$ instead of 14$. Barely spoiled. I removed the spot that was no longer good and ate the entire pie. Was feeling good to fight food waste one pie at time. I hope more stores will do it as seriously as this Metro store handles it.
Old review 6 years ago: More expensive than the Maxi&Co on the other side of street for many products but they hold different kind of products like Sushis (always price reductions on those, it's amazing), etc. Overall, it's always great to have competition in retail stores. Prices are more fair and we have wider variety of products to choose from. Will keep buying some stuff here!”
