It is so exceptional to encounter professionals who are so willing to give so generously and competently of their time to any client but what makes it more extraordinary -I am not a client at that particular branch.
Although the theft of my wallet was beyond upsetting, these two professionals shifted the paradigm of this dark experience to one of being truly inspirational by their humanity and competence . “Old-fashioned procedures: fill out a form printed by the teller for a withdrawal; two forms of identification required and additional questions as on the phone. The worst, a manager told me that he can produce my parts with photos. So I told him I'm dealing with a counterfeiter. What is he doing to a bank. It happened on July 31, 2024 at 11:25.”

“I met with Maddy at the CIBC branch who helped me update my SIN number and address for my CIBC account since I became a permanent resident and moved to Quebec. She also helped me secure a new credit card with better credit availability (my previous card was as an international graduate student and only had a limit of $500). She also offered me a line of credit at a decent interest rate, and was very patient in explaining how it worked. She also helped with hiccups with the CC and LOC on the credit team's end.
