“It is just so representative of Everyting Montreal it’s old dirty falling apart worn out over priced bagels but a very good fish section with one of the best smoked salmon ? in Montreal and a very good selection of Jewish food
Not going to beat it up as I really hope they stay open as I would truly miss them if they did close up only to give the land away to another stupid over priced condo building with super extreme high taxes and condo fees and zero parking as it is just so congested there.

“The food is marvelous. Super quality artisnal carb products. Very fresh and lots of vegetables in proportion to protein and starchy carbs. However good balanced meals is not everything. The website is unresponsive and communication is next to nill. I can't find a chat room. They always bill 11 days in advance and this week my box did not arrive at all. No where to chat so I had to send an email. However, since they have refunded me in the past for late deliveries and frozen produce, I must give them 5 stars. Perhaps the issue is with the carrier that they are using.”

Not only do they deliver on all their promises, but they have excellent customer service. I have never had a dissatisfying experience with their agents, and they always make it right in the rare event that something isn't to my satisfaction. I am so endlessly grateful that I discovered them, and have no intention of ever going back to life before Goodfood.”

“Maxi is still convenient as an all-in-one grocery store in the area, and it carries a wide range of essentials. That said, over the last few years it’s definitely gone downhill.
Stock is hit or miss — some days shelves are fine, other times basic items are missing.
Prices have also crept up, which makes it harder to justify when the selection isn’t always there. For a discount-focused store, that’s disappointing.
It’s still useful for one-stop shopping around here, but compared to previous years, shopping at Maxi has become noticeably more frustrating.”
