“Truly an awesome place to pick up quality veggies, meat, cold cuts and other groceries, and i am sure i am not the only one because i see so many locals visiting this place all the time. What i love the most about this place is the quality of meat and professionalism; they are not the cheapest but if you want good quality for the family and get together to bring home; ribs, steaks, any kind of ground meat for stew, sauces and dumplings (yeah i am Asian) this place is it. They have so many good selection of marinated meats, prepacked veggies that are seasoned already, i think it's perfect and you don't have to be a great cook to have great supper at home with their products. They understand exactly what you need and always offer the best service they can. From my personal experience, the rib steaks are one of the best i have ever tasted and the marinated bavette (black garlic..?) is to die for. They also have marinated portuguese chicken using great quality chicken , this cooks amazing in the oven. Sausages are good but need a little bit of improvement as I see them being a bit heavily seasoned (i have tried two kinds so far). Really happy to have this place in the area, please keep it up!!”

“I live around the corner and just moved back from Paris, and have been missing my daily croissants badly. I saw that Frenco was offering croissants for just $1.45 and I had to try it! It was fantastic and so flaky, and the store has a great concept and layout as well: very cozy, with space to sit and eat, work, and get a coffee, as well as shop for your zero-waste groceries, which is a great concept. So happy to be living around the corner from this spot - can’t wait to come back!”

“I love this little grocery store! It's so fun to look around and see what's new, or see what I haven't noticed before. The store has really helped me slowly transition to a zero waste home. The staff are friendly, helpful, and tidy. Some items are pricier such as organic products or fancy chocolate, but if you look, you can find some really good deals and cheap prices (even my thrifty roommate agrees). Every time I need to visit, I look forward to going. V&B is a gem in the neighborhood.”

After looking over the payment details, I thought there might be an error, so I returned to the store to have the transaction reviewed. Even though I had misplaced my receipt, the cashier and staff welcomed me with kindness, respect, and genuine professionalism.
They patiently reviewed everything, explained the charges clearly, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed or uncomfortable.
