“Restaurant review

Food was good, and beautiful view of the river and Quebec City. Not an extensive menu, and pricey, but you are paying for the location...which is great.

Service was ok.”

“If you’re looking for a place to stay within Old Quebec you’re not going to find a better location than Clarendon. It’s in a great central location to where most of everything within the old walls is within a ten minute walk. The rooms are very nice for what you’re paying for and the bathroom floor is heated. We really enjoyed our stay in Quebec and a large part of that was staying at the Clarendon Hotel.”

“We've been going here for well over a decade. When we first came some 18 years ago, the tasting, 9-course menu was one of the best meals we'd ever experienced. Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. The rooms are basically unchanged and quite nice. We ended up skipping dinner. I was expecting the usual hot breakfast and was instead greeted with a buffet-style layout. We were offered crepes and gladly accepted, but not 100% sure what we were given was maple syrup. The fruit salad was quite good and better than most places that use cheap fruit and funky preservative syrup. It was very fresh.
Still all-around very good, but just not top-notch like it used to be.”

“The room was very comfortable and clean. The service was great. The location was in the middle of all the great restaurants and sites in old Quebec city. All in all, a memorable trip!”

“We stayed 3 nights at Hôtel Manoir Victoria and honestly loved it. It was the perfect winter stay.

The indoor pool was actually heated and properly warm, which I really appreciated because most indoor pools feel freezing to me. The sauna was a great bonus too, not many hotels have that.

Location-wise, it’s super convenient, right off the main street and easy to walk around.

The staff were really helpful whenever we needed anything and made everything feel easy.

We stayed in a Distinction room and it was very spacious, with two queen beds and a big living room area. Very comfortable, and great for winding down after being out in the cold all day for activities.

Breakfast was also excellent, genuinely better than some breakfasts I’ve had at 5 star hotels.

Valet parking was extremely convenient and worth it. The price felt very reasonable for Québec City, and I can’t imagine trying to find parking myself.

Would absolutely stay again, and longer!”

“Not really what would you expect from 4 star hotel. Convenient location, very expensive breakfast, beds rather small. When booking, rooms view not clearly described (city view is on 3 sides). We booked through travel web site, where was no info about pool closure. Direct hotel info on Google maps had the pool info. My bad for not checking.
Third time stay. Better rooms descriptions when booking is a plus. Old town view is great.”

“Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Our room had a great view facing the Fairmont Hotel and river. Location is great and about 30 minute walk through the old city - cafes, restaurants, and shops winding your way through beautiful architecture to the Fairmon Hotel, Notra Dame, and river.”

“Some very nice historic seeming atmosphere - a nice ambiance of christmas when we visited - a warm and embracing room to enjoy a coffee and come quiet conversation. More of a place for the spa and rejuvenation.”

“This is our second stay at the hotel. They have pet friendly rooms. There was a mix up (after their remodel this year), and long story short the hotel staff was above and beyond in accommodating us, putting us up in an apartment right across from the hotel. We will definitely be back here!”

“Surprised by the comments. It's simple:
- Cheap hotel
- You are 200m from Château Frontenac and ALL the places of interest in old Quebec
- The rooms are private and clean but small. The bedding is good.
- It's warm in winter, with adjustable thermometer
- We offer you coffee in the morning
- There is a fridge and a microwave in a common room
- Toilet and shower on the landing (cleaned several times a day)

If you are expecting great luxury, go your way.
If you are on a budget, you will never find anything as good as this.
I recommend for a few nights!”

“We stayed at Hotel Le Concorde during Winter Carnaval, and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, the bed super comfortable and shower was hot and had great pressure. Oh and the view? Incredible! But the unexpected highlight might have been the lost and found experience. We left while three busses full of people were also checking out, so loading up our vehicle was a bit chaotic. We ended up forgetting a garment bag in the very busy and packed lobby. We didn't realize until we got home. I emailed the hotel, and they confirmed they had it! The process to have it shipped home was so easy. I highly recommend this hotel.”
