“This is the only large supermarket (other than IGA) on Nun’s Island, like Superstore out West but a lot cleaner. We go there often. Prices are good and there is a variety of cheeses, hams, and juices to buy. Our favourite part of Provigo is their charcuterie. The selections of hams from chicken to turkey to beef are amazingly mouthwatering. (Try the piri piri chicken ham). We go almost every week and have only so far tried four different types. The charcuterie is definitely our reason to go to the supermarket often. ?”

“Very nice friendly staff, small neighborhood grocery store, the selection is more than adequate, actually gives the feeling of not being in a large city having to shop alongside a thousand other people at the same time. We need more of these little businesses and a lot less of the big-box stores. These little businesses add character to the neighbourhood. Remember folks always support small business, you got treated with more respect and the staff is much friendlier and much more helpful.”
