“Today I found myself stranded at the Nouria gas station on Mendon Road in Cumberland, RI with a flat tire, stressed and worried because I was on a time crunch to pick up my children from school. I want to give a very special thank you to an incredible employee named Niaya. She went completely above and beyond anything I could have expected. She came outside to help me try to use Fix-a-Flat, called multiple roadside assistance companies to see who could help, and even offered to use her own personal AAA membership to try to get me back on the road. She never left my side and continued brainstorming solutions until help arrived. A flat tire is something completely out of our control, and in that moment her compassion, patience, and kindness made all the difference. She treated me with genuine care and reminded me that there are still truly good-hearted people in this world. “I give a huge shoutout to the pharmacy crew at this store. Every time I call or drop by to pick up a script, these guys are on top of it. Compared to CVS and their horrible customer service, this place is a total winner. At CVS you can’t even get a human being on the line and just end up leaving messages, but the team here actually picks up the phone every single time and most times it’s the actual Pharmacist! The customer service of the pharmacy staff here just can't be matched. They take the time to answer all your questions with patience, never make you feel rushed, and get you on your way fast. “What can I really say about CVS that you don't already know? Honestly, nothing. It's CVS. They have lots of things for you to buy and many locations from you to buy them from. I can say that this location has an excellent pharmacy staff. I am on a daily medication that my health insurance decided to stop covering at the start of this year. The pharmacy manager has worked with me every time I need it refilled and makes sure I get the most discounts available to help ease the cost. If you need a Red Bull and some Band-Aids they're good for that but they're also good for excellent pharmacy service as well.”

“This Walgreens pharmacy is so much better than CVS. First, you can actually reach someone at the pharmacy by phone - at CVS you now need to leave a message hoping they call you back. Second, the store is quiet and clean, unlike CVS. Third, the pharmacy is super quick and easy to work with. Not sure what the deal with other negative reviews is, maybe it’s because the negative ones are all over 2 years old, but I think this pharmacy, as it is now, is great!”
