I've been meaning to share my thoughts about Washington Trust, for quite some time now. But, do to being so busy all the time, another day just slips right by, I'm sure many know that feeling.

Now to get the meat, of this review. I'll start off by saying, I have only dealt with credit unions most of my life. Being, 67, that's a long time. I didn't trust banks, do to two episodes and issues, I had with banks, back in my 30s.

About 5yrs back, I needed a small loan. And just down the road from me, was Washington Trust bank. So I took a chance with them.
Well, I honestly can say, that Washington Trust, is a bank like know other.
They truly treat you, with the up most respect. Making you feel comfortable not nervous or anxious. And they helped me greatly, in my time of need. Actually twice I had to make another loan. Both were paid off, as expected. One faster then the other. Scott, the branch manager, he's about one of nicest guys you could ever meet. May the smooth path, for the loans.

I am still a member. I haven't took out any loans, recently, now that I had retired, from my work place.

Now all that to say this. This bank, should be a top 5 to a 10 in my book. If others were to try banking here.
They in a heartbeat would leave, their bank, to want to be a member of Washington Trust and this isn't just words.

“I seriously have not found a better bank. I have been with this bank since 2016 and never had an issue. When I call they are very helpful and polite and patient even when I'm upset. The Providence branch is my favorite and now that I moved to Georgia I still use them but miss them very much especially seeing the closest branch to me is in Idaho and Oregon lol. Really with they would open up some locations in Georgia because Washington trust is the best bank I ever had in my 42 years and many bank accounts. They never have hidden fees and are willing to help especially in times of need. They literally do there best to solve all your problems even when you vent to them.
