“I love this place. I could spend hours and have and it's not that big at all. If you're looking for something you can't find somewhere else check with these folks. They know exactly where everything is in the store. They carry old used parts as well. At least they had an electrical part to an old lamp I was fixing. Used but you wouldn't be able to find a new one anyway. They carry high quality tools, have everything you would need same as a big DIY outfit just not a bunch of the options.”
“Eddie is the best. He works for the customer and gets great prices for you. We ordered a lot of Timbertech railings and deck boards from Paul at Home Depot in Seekonk and he ordered round ballisters and railings that fit square ballisters. I had to speak to the top Home Depot manager to get my money back because everyone else at Home Depot said we cant get our money back because we should have checked the order before we bought it. Isn't that Pauls job in special products... to make sure hes ordering the right stuff that fits? Eddie knew what we wanted and matched Home Depots price AND had it delivered in a week. Even better..their delivery driver called and asked if we had sprinkler heads near our driveway. We do so he walked the products to the garage. WTH! Great, great service. There is cute little Shop that has a variety of things that make a perfect gift. The hardware store has Benjamin Moore paint, things for BBQ, pet supplies, YETI products and of course your home hardware needs.Picture is of my Proven Winners Bubblegum Petunia that are thriving. This is 3 plants.”
“Great store. This location is super clean, brightly lit, and always has the specific mechanics tool I need in a pinch. Today was ball-end, extended Allen head bits for 3/8ths. And I bought $120 worth of more stuff i needed, at the same time.... Shop step stool, metric ratcheting wrenches, hitch equipment for my zero turn to pull a leaf rake; you name it.”

“Woooow, this is an arboreal maintenance candy AND toy store! I decided I wanted to stop in to pick up a replacement chainsaw bar and chain as I backed over my last one with my garden tractor, anyhow. So, I go looking online for a replacement. An Oregon is the OEM bar that my ~15 year old Craftsman electric chainsaw had. Luckily there’s a replacement and a certified local official retailer to acquire it from! So I get on the phone and the customer service representative made me worried about the educational standards for the folk outside of New England. I just wanted to have the bar shipped to the store for pickup so Id have a reason to visit and see what kind of equipment they have for me to needlessly lust after. They did not understand how shipping works for some reason and got upset with me. Anyhow it came I picked it up. There’s more to the story but I’ve got to go hang with my family. They all just woke up. Stay pruned for the next chapter.”

“Ace Hardware is smaller than your big box stores but offers a similar experience. It's your local Hometown Store with knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service. They were able to answer all my questions, and they're even able to replace a broken glass pane with plexiglass. Lowe's and Home Depot don't offer that type of service. Brand names like Stanley, Craftsman, and Milwaukee.”
“My family made the mistake of hiring a gypsy plumber to install a water heater when we first moved into the area. The indirect water heater was still under warranty and the manufacturer helped trace us back to this supply house.Jim Seabaugh helped facilitate the entire transaction since the plumber was MIA.He manages the store, he’s a hard worker and he’s been at this location for years. He knows his stuff. If he doesn’t know; he will find out.I am so grateful to have had an unfortunate blessing in disguise. I call Jim for all our plumbing needs now. I 100% trust his opinion and he has not steered us wrong on 3 separate jobs. I’ve known him for years and he’s bailed us out each time.”

“What a great store! I felt like I had been brought back to when I was a kid, and my dad would take me with him to the local hardware store. They seem to have everything that I could ever want. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The items around the register turned out to be a tribute to the days of the impulse buy. There was so much stuff that I never knew that I needed! We also wanted to compare prices to the big box stores to get the most bang for our buck.. we were happy with what we saw and ended up going to the East Providence location to buy our vanity only because the order at the Warwick location was 10 days late with an unknown arrival time. There is a lot to see here, great prices and selection. Worth it if you're in the market for bathroom, kitchen or window ideas.”
“On February 3, 2023, Friday evening, which was the coldest night of the year (-9 Degrees Fahrenheit) I had a major plumbing problem. After taking my shower and turning off the Symmons Temptrol control valve, hot water kept running (not dripping) and I had no shut-off valves in proximity to the shower to stop the hot water back flow. Back in 2010 I purchased a high efficiency boiler from Bruce at Ardente Supply Co. which has an indirect hot water tank associated with the boiler. I was fearful to shut down the boiler while attempting to fix the problem since the boiler provides both space heat and domestic hot water. The next day, February 4, 2023, Saturday, the overnight temperature was the second coldest night of the year (-2 Degrees Fahrenheit) and I still could not do anything to stop the hot water siphoning from the boiler. After two days of record setting temperatures and another day, Sunday, that the problem could not be addressed, I decided to call Bruce at Ardente supply on Monday. Bruce has helped me over the years addressing both electrical and plumbing problems with my boiler and supplying various plumbing parts for a number of home remodeling jobs. After discussing my siphoning problem with Bruce, he told me what I needed to do to secure boiler operation and how to rebuild my Symmons Temptrol shower valve. I do not know what I would have done if Bruce did not come to the rescue. Bruce, your expertise in HVAC is truly exceptional and I feel that my experience might help someone in the community with a similar or any heating/plumbing problem. Bruce, kudos to you... Rick P.”
