“Recently.under new management by Bally's, you can tell! Everything here is now SO world class. The casino is laid out like a real casino, the table games are fantastic btw. I enjoy the dice tables myself from time to time. The dealers are all Vegas savvy and friendly. The decor is elegant. The food court is pretty damn good and the restaurants are even better! Also, actual Chinese/Asian food now no longer just American style. Bish improvement if you ask me. The event center is fairly large and spot on. You may want to catch some world class boxing or MMA there. Cigar room too. The main casino floor often has national acts performing for free and the concert hall has AWESOME bands. Love this place, don't spend all your money on the slots, there are so many other fun things to do here!”
“We had the potatoe gnocchi, which was delicious! The sea scallops were out of this world! I wish their menu had more seafood options.Unfortunately, the sticky toffee dessert was very dry and not tasty.”
“I can't believe that I've never heard of Maria's Cucina. It's located in a quieter section of Federal Hill and I appreciated the parking availability.It's an old Victorian house that looks a little worn on the outside, but don't be fooled - the interior will blow you away. The vibe is old school Italian in a classy way. You feel like you are "dining out".The service could not have been better. Our server, Jenna, was a gem.The fried calamari was perfectly cooked - crispy & tender. I had mixed feelings about the entrees. The bone-in pounded veal Parmesan was excellent and the portion was huge! I was underwhelmed by the carbonara.No room for dessert on this visit but, eyeing the lemon olive oil cake for next time. Coffee is first-rate.I look forward to returning to dine outdoors in the warmer weather.”
“We can't say enough about Squantum Association as our wedding venue. From the beautiful views, to the historic buildings, and the great staff, we can't imagine having to plan our wedding without the help of Tina Desrosiers. She was attentive and was able to address any concern (there was not many) and make our day so great.Our food was phenomenal, our guests couldn't stop talking about how great everything was whether it was location or just the venue in general and how much fun they had. We would recommend this venue to anyone who's looking for a great value and price with great service.”
“Had amazing time at this paint and vino session. Must experience.You get two free beverages with your ticket. There is a 10 minute break mid way of the session. Instructor is very patient and is doing an awesome job.Ample parking space.Bonus: You’ll be able to catch a glimpse of Pawtucket falls right from the parking.”
“This was my second time at the Waterfire Art Center for an event. This time I attended Little City Thrifty Vintage event. There were many vendors with beautiful vintage fashion clothing, shoes, decors that you could choose from or just walk around to meet many of the business owners to know more about their shops location if you weren't able to make a purchase at that time. I did a whole walk around.”
“My now husband and I can’t recommend Easy Entertaining enough. Kaitlyn and Mike were absolutely phenomenal to work with, they were so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. They did such an amazing job setting up the reception area. Mike was so polite and attentive throughout the day. All of the guests were astounded by the excellent food, and how wonderful the entire wait and bar staff were. They truly made our wedding day magical. Thank you all!”
“Fantastic New Year's Eve event. Ballroom dancing which included a very accommodating DJ who took requests. Classy place to which I plan on returning. I was surprised that the venue did not offer hot tea as an option with dessert. And the cream for the coffee was not existent.”

A lot if kids 1-2 years old with their own place to crawl and explore.Small area outside to explore as well.Otherwise, if you want your kids to stay occupied for a few hours , come and enjoy.Affordable entrance prices for adults and kids!”

“We chose Millrace for my mom's celebration of life. It was a tough time for us, but Margaux made everything easy. It is a large space, with lots of light and a patio area if your guests need some air. Pricing is more than reasonable and the room also had a projector for photos and speakers to play our mom's favorite music. Margaux was so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process (was always an email away if we had questions leading up to our event) and the day of. Everything turned out beautifully and I will absolutely use Millrace in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, affordable place to host an event. Thank you!!!”
“I just wanted to take a moment to comment about the Smithfield Elks.First of all, the atmosphere is very warm & inviting. .The staff is phenomenal.Terry Sanger entertained, & he is a people pleaser. He plays the saxophone, sings, never takes a break except for a moment of silence for Elks who have passed, as they will never be forgotten.God bless all Elks.People are eating, drinking, singing, dancing, catching up with friends.They treat you like family. A great place to be.The manager & the bartender are top notch.C’mon down & join the fun. It’s worth the trip.”

“We had our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the G and our wedding reception at the Ballroom at the Providence G in September 2023, and we could not be happier! We fell in love with the venue right away - from the beautiful rooftop to the spacious ballroom and gorgeous chandeliers, it's a really special city venue that's difficult to beat.During our outdoor ceremony, there were dark clouds rolling in and lightning striking in the distance. The moment once the ceremony was over and all our guests were safely inside the Rooftop covering for cocktail hour, it started pouring and our guests were able to enjoy watching the rain from within the glass walls and ceiling, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the night!The ballroom's elegant and minimal decor was perfect for our vision. The bar staff was quick and efficient, and we didn't have to worry about long lines at the bar. There was plenty of room for our 150 guests, and the dance floor was huge. It was a very hot and muggy weekend, but with the AC blasting, massive fans the team brought onto the dance floor, and the open bar, our guests didn't seem to mind.Lauren and her team were amazing, honest and upfront, and super helpful, responding to all my questions and concerns with reassurances and proposed solutions during the planning process and on the day of. Lauren's energy is so calming and she really made us feel comfortable and confident that she had it all handled. The team helped us stick to our timeline and pull off a surprise lion dance performance for our guests.We highly recommend this venue and this team to pull off your dream wedding!”
“We had our baby shower here yesterday. People from 6 yrs old to 60 had a great time. The old time duckpin bowling was a lot of fun. We had many compliments on the food, and were surprised when our fruit platter was presented in a watermelon shaped like a baby carriage. I would highly recommend this venue!Cheryl”
“House tours were $8. The people volunteering are very nice! They do reenactments & weddings. The owner goes out of his way, the best he can to please every person. He is very kind and funny. This place is well kept up and historic history is well preserved and showing for people to see in great condition. I highly recommend this place for an event or for photographers to have photo sessions on. Lots of nice spots to take pictures. Photographers will be added to their vendor list if you'd like for future events. There are bridges, old stone walls, a pond, all sorts of beautiful trees and barn to take lovely pictures by. Plus the house has such charm for great photos. Big grounds for large events, with plenty of room for parking. About 23 acres I was told. I highly recommend this place!”

“I'm a long time participant (2 decades) in this great little hip spot...I've given full scale concerts in the garden, hosted their long running open-mic, played the open mic and participated in just about everything that this hip-spot has offered at one time or another. It is ideal as a small music venue, acoustic or PA, it offers the atmosphere of a listening audience. and easy to get to... I have a warm place in my heart for it's history in town and have only the best of experiences that I've enjoyed there...it's so much more than a coffee/tea house and a great place to catch a Java as well ... a must see in Prov. “Franchesca was a pleasure to work with while planning my wedding! She was very prompt with answering emails/phone calls and very attentive to details. I found myself to be very nit-picky as our date grew closer and when I had an issue with my bridal bouquet on the morning of my wedding she dropped everything and fixed it right away. She was very organized and honest with my expectations and quotes, and respected our budget--even came up with alternative ideas (i.e., instead of a floral arch at the alter, she suggested taller stemmed plants and placed tea lights on them, which looked gorgeous and stayed within my price range). She is so sweet and definitely has an adaptable vision. I wanted baby's breath flower crowns for my flower girls but I was was worried that one of them, my 18-month-old flower girl, would rip out her flower crown--Franchesca instead made a baby's breath hair clip for her instead, which stayed the entire night! She was also very knowledgeable about my venue, the Providence Public Library, which helped me be a little bit more decisive when it came to which areas I wanted to decorate with fresh flowers (helped cut the cost for me)! All in all, she's great at what she does, her website/social media absolutely reflects what she can do, and she can tastefully add a touch of elegance to your special day!”
“Im not a member here , but I install and service their wastewater marina pump. The facility is in a great location . It has has a great view of the bay , easy access , plenty of parking , and is surrounded by beautiful properties. On site , they have a nice club house , bathrooms , fire pit area , tiki bar , and more . They have plenty of slips and the docks are well kept. In in the perfect position in the bay . Never too choppy , and protected by a sea wall. Over all I’m sure this would be a great place to become a member .”

Our waiter Andrew C. was amazing, attentive, and helpful with picking out delicious meals. The food and drinks were excellent. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better night.
