“If you like to save money, this is the best grocery store in town. Friendly and amusing staff (some even tell jokes). It is always a pleasure shopping here, and I could make a car payment on the savings. They just installed a self checkout, so hopefully, they will maintain their personal touch. Excellent job from these grocery store heroes.Update they seem to be maintaining their friendly service nicely, and the new self-service is functioning well”
“As far as I know, this is the only wholesale club on Aquidneck Island. There is no Sam's nor Costco nearby, so this is the only choice for people on the island for wholesale items...there's a Walmart closer to Newport, but it's not a wholesale store.This BJ's is a bit smaller than others but it does have the basic departments like deli, frozen, groceries, health and beauty, small electronics, paper goods, soft drinks, bakery, etc.I went to get some gift cards in here and they had a large selection to choose from.”

“Last week I ordered 3 deli sandwich rings for a neighborhood function. The deli staff was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The sandwich rings exceeded my expectations with generous amounts of meat and cheese and presented beautifully at our function. I would highly recommend this option if you're looking to feed a crowd.”
“What you'd expect from a stop & shop. There's a huge parking lot and other closeby businesses and services.Great produce and vegetarian selections from this location. I'm always surprised as they add new items frequently. Their fresh flower section is a little limited but always pretty good. A little more variety on products from this stop & shop or so it seems to me.”
