“Sunday I came in, bought a couple pairs of shoes. Madison, one of the managers as I saw on her name tag was AWESOME! Asked her for help and I ended saying sorry a couple times because I felt annoying but she never once gave me an attitude but she smiled and said I’m here to help. She also checked me out at the register and signed me up to gain some points, I got $10 just for signing up! What a great deal, thanks Madison for being great, I will be back.”
“Always worth a browse if you need a pair or two of shoes. It's currently under construction at the moment, so there's no street access. You can still enter via the main entry inside the mall. There's still plenty of products and shoes, but the overall sqft of the location is currently impacted by renovations.”

Julian and his colleagues and another customer were all incredibly helpful in helping me select the right sneakers for my grand daughter. Turns out, my grand daughter and their daughters were all born the same year and within a month of each other, so these dads made my buying experience especially communal, fun, and memorable. I HIGHLY recommend the Sneaker Junkies on Thayer Street for a top-flight customer experience.”

“I’d never heard of this store until my 14 year old came home with a pair of $225 sneakers that she had no business buying. I immediately went back to the store with her and explained the situation (and her mental state which lead to this unreasonable purchase). The gentlemen in the store asked made me aware of the no return policy but due to the situation surrounding this purchase (no need to go into detail) they allowed the return. All of the store associates were very nice and understanding. I’d support them again.”
“I have seen these Rainbow stores in other parts of metro Providence and when I travel, I never really went into one until a few days ago....I was really surprised on how low the prices for women's clothing are here....there are lots of racks around the store that have many many items for less than $5. Incredible. The shoe section is all the way in the back, and it was a bit small but very busy with people trying on shoes.Rainbow Shops was founded in 1935 in New York City by Irving Arthur Swarzman, an Austrian native who was raised in Brooklyn. Swarzman brought his four brothers (Herman, Oscar, Ira, and Nat) into the business as they reached working age. They built the business from one shop to a high of eighty-two stores before selling the business in the 1980s. “This place is amazing. I walked in expecting to just look at some shoes and pick out a pair I liked, and I got a whole experience. The nicest gentleman measured my feet and how I walked and sought out various pairs for me to try that would suit my needs and me individually. After trying a few on I found the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn. It was so cool and neat and as a DA thats on her feet all day having a comfy shoe that fits well is everything. I learned so much and would highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit!”
