“Okay, so here's a review for those of you who are budget shoppers:
If you want the combination of the cheapest price for the best quality, keep circling back to Costco until they finally have the one shoe you want. If you want high-end sport or every day wear, try Brainsport or The Running Store. For dress shoes look into Burton's or The Swank Shoe Lounge downtown. Walmart is pretty cheap, but in quality as well as price.
The Shoe Company is a really good place for sport and every day shoes. When people complain that they don't get waited on when they come in, this indicates that they don't understand the deal.
At The Shoe Company, you're getting the shoes cheaper than high end because you serve yourself. If you want top-shelf treatment, go somewhere that you pay top-shelf prices. That's the bottom line.
The Shoe Company had a decent selection and most shoes had a fair number of sizes available - right there below the displayed shoe, because you're serving yourself.
I know their shoes aren't top quality, but they aren't bottom either. This place has honest prices and for the most part you're getting what you pay for. I respect that.
Highly recommend if you need "good enough" and/or you're shopping on a budget.”
