“The best and brightest gas station to visit off the hwy 85 grover exit, and that's saying a whole lot because, frankly, there's a whole lot of gas stations off that exit. What sets this one apart from the others is the variety of things inside. They sell all the typical gas station staples like drinks, beer, snacks cigarettes and of course gas but they also have practically a full service vape shop with the biggest selection of Elfbars and Lost Mary Vapes as well the most conventinal vapes and vape juices in the whole area. They also let you make sure they are in working order before you leave so you can get another one just in case it doesn't past inspection. For people who don't vape or smoke, they have a full ice cream shop in the middle of the store and a fireworks shop on the other end building. To top it all off, the employees there are genuinely happy you've stopped by and give the whole place its hometown charm that can't be found in the larger, more expensive stores that surround it. Just look for the bright yellow building; you can't miss it.”
“I don’t always expect a gas station stop to improve my mood, but Menchie’s Gas and Go somehow turns a basic fuel run into one of those easy, dependable stops you end up appreciating more than you realize.
The biggest thing about this place is convenience. Pull in, fuel up, grab a drink or snack, and you’re back on the road without feeling like you lost 20 minutes of your life in the process. Everything feels quick, organized, and straightforward — exactly how a good neighborhood gas station should operate.
The staff has always been friendly, and the store has that familiar local feel where people actually seem glad you stopped by. It’s not trying to be flashy or overcomplicated. It just does the fundamentals really well, and honestly, that’s what keeps people coming back.
There’s also something comforting about having a reliable go-to stop when you’re bouncing around town running errands, hauling kids around, or heading home after a long day. Good location, solid service, and one of those places that quietly becomes part of your normal routine.
Stay fueled and rolling, my friends.”
“Today I stopped here in search of a particular brand of pork skins. There were none that I wanted in my hometown; so I traveled about ten miles to Blacksburg, S.C. hoping to score big. Well; it didn't happen here! But I did discover a newer convenience store that was well stocked with everything else I could possibly want. This stop has reasonably priced gas, tons of ice cold beer, a mega selection of soft drinks, snacks upon snacks! They also have an ATM on site. This is a good place to store to visit and I recommend them!”
“I do so much like this travel center! Buying gas here is usually competitive with other places in town. But after using their Pilot Rewards Card ten cents per. gallon is automatically subtracted. And there is no limit on the amount purchased! You can bring multiple vehicles here in the same day ; it doesn't matter! What a deal! The store itself is stocked well! I see no shortages here on anything! The coffee is super and my favorite place locally to get a hot cup to go.Try their intense energy coffee! Smooth with a mule kick that will make you want to cut your grass with a push lawn mower! The place is clean and the personnel are friendly and helpful! This is my to go to place for gas and coffee! I highly recommend this particular travel center!”
“Easy to get into and out of off of the interstate. They have a large sign that says fireworks, but have a note on the door saying they cannot currently sell fireworks, no big deal just information. Clerks were friendly and helpful, inside of store was neat, clean, and seemed to be well stocked. No separate truck fuel pumps, but there was truck parking. Overall not a bad stop.”
“First off it’s the Legendary SUPERSTOP you remember from back in the day Superstops used to have a Pool Table in it and people would just chill in and outside of superstop parking lot. It was the in thing to do back in the early 90s that and smoke pot!! Anyways the name is SUPERSTOP & it’s still here.. still standing..”

“I stopped by recently and had an amazing experience thanks to Randy and his coworker. They did an absolutely awesome job, and they were so helpful while I was there.
However, I was really disappointed to learn that the people working hard in the kitchen to prepare the fresh food aren't allowed to take tips. When staff members provide this level of service, they should definitely be allowed to accept them. I would love to see a tip box added to the kitchen area or some way for us to show our appreciation to the team directly.
I will definitely love to see this change. Blessings ? Beni”

“This is without a doubt the best looking 7-Eleven I've ever seen! It looks brand new and sticks out like a sore thumb. It's got a gigantic back lot parking area and it's impressive! I saw this place from the interstate and knew I had to check it out! There's a nice convenience store inside and the entire place is spotless! The gas prices were incredibly low! I liked everything that I saw and will return here in the future as needed!”
“When I need gas or something cold beers I just get into that old crappy Ford truck and ride on in to the hickory point. These folks got all you need if you gone just smoke, snack, and get your lotto on while you bustin out a 40.”
