I was in a big rush with my baby in the hospital and my Truck started having issues with my battery cables and had no tools to fix this so I stopped by this little mechanic shop while I was on my way to go buy a bunch of new tools I don’t need to spend money on but I stopped here as I was driving by first, and I’m so glad that I did because Mr. Alvin went above and beyond to get me in what he said was gonna take an hour was more like 20 minutes and was able to fix my vehicle in less than 15 minutes and was super professional and got the job done and got me back on the road so I can get back to the hospital where my baby is I usually don’t write reviews but again Alvin you are awesome and the shop is the place to go when having car trouble!”
“I have a 2016 Dodge Journey and I was having issues with a battery warning light that kept coming on. I went to at least two other shops before I was referred to American Automotive by a relative and within the first phone call they were able to determine what was causing the problem. They were very detailed and made sure that I understood exactly what I would be paying for as far as repairs are concerned. Getting a new alternator with a lifetime warranty resolved my issue. And the owner even let me know that he did a lengthy test drive on it to make sure I would be OK before giving it back to me. Any issues that I have going forward I’m going to them and I’ll tell anybody that will listen. Very friendly people and quick service!”

I discovered a leak on the passenger side front floor mat. I had no idea where it came from and my daughter was leaving to go out of town the next day with my car. I called and explained and was told to come in and Bert would look at it when he got a minute. Didn’t have to wait too long and Bert came and troubleshoot the problem. It ended up being something leaking in my glove box. I was so relieved but so thankful that he stopped what he was doing to help me out. In today’s world with these chain/dealership places I would have waited days. I really want to thank Bert and his wife for being so kind and helpful. You have no idea how much I appreciated it.”
