Multiple guests reported substandard rooms with issues like broken toilet seats, a malfunctioning locked door, loose ceiling plaster, and worn-out mattresses. Several bathrooms need updating, with complaints about low water pressure and problematic showers. A recurring issue is a dank, moldy smell from the HVAC units. While considered good for the price and recommended for visitors on a budget, the hotel is in dire need of professional maintenance.
Two-day stay for a conference in old town Charleston. LaQuinta cost less than a third of least expensive downtown hotel. Commute took about 10 minutes and was relatively easy. Room was adequate and staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Ms Bri at the front desk was helpful and kind. She is an awesome ambassador for the Wyndham brand. Having a smiling cheerful person at front desk goes a very long way at making guests feel welcome. Please pass this praise to Bri and let her management staff know that she is an asset to the team.
