“The folks at Heroes and Dragons are absolute legends. They’ve always had a great selection of Star Wars, Marvel, DC, GI Joe and other toy/comic lines. Every employee in there is very kind and patient. They have a lot of cool decorations whether it be different toys, statues, or cardboard cutouts from theatrical releases. “Today, I came in from out of town to pick up a gift from the store. My problem was that I thought the store closed at 6 PM when in reality, closing time was 5:30 PM. As I was on the way, I called the store to let them know that my estimated arrival time was unfortunately a few minutes past closing time. IThey were so very kind to tell me not to worry and they would be there when I arrived. You just don't receive customer service like that anymore! Not only are the clothes and items in this store absolutely precious, but so are the people! Thank you so much!”

“I absolutely love shopping at THIS Once Upon A Child on Harbison in Columbia ! The store is SUPER clean, organized, and well stocked with clothing, shoes, toys, baby stuff like strollers and everything you need as a new mama. My older kiddos love the clothes and shoes I find here for them and the prices you can’t beat even if you are doing coupons somewhere else. It honestly has made shopping other places hard, because you just don’t find all these brands at these prices.
I also just want to add that the staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, whether I’m shopping or bringing items in to sell. They make the selling process quick and easy, and I appreciate how convenient it is to turn outgrown items into cash while giving them a second life.
In conclusion…as a parent, it’s such a relief to have a place where I can save money without sacrificing quality and let the kids go on a spree. Highly recommend to any Columbia-area family looking for great deals and a fantastic shopping experience!”

“Omg I LOVED this cute lil shop!! I moved to south Carolina from Utah and I could never find a store even remotely like this one out there! They are very kind and knowledgeable and they had exactly what I was looking for!!
I got super lucky with a brand new marvel legends what if figure in such amazing condition that I couldn't find anywhere else. I'm also picky and very impatient so I didn't want to pay shipping for a sub par figure online.
The store was very well organized and nothing was just randomly strewn about which made locating specific fandoms and merch so much easier.
