“My trip to Old Navy was a success, and I’m definitely glad that I stopped in! I hadn’t been to Old Navy in years, so I didn’t really know what to expect. However, I was able to find a nice pair of khaki pants, and they had a lot of items that I liked and might stop by again in the future to check out. They also seemed to have a nice selection of clothing for children, and if I ever need a pair of blue jeans, this’ll be the first place I come. As such, I would recommend!”
“I had the pleasure of being greeted and assisted by Rochelle at The Children's Place at Sandhill in Columbia SC. Because my children are now older I don't frequent the store as in the past. Rochelle was nice enough to assist me throughout my shopping process. At checkout she showed me additional items that worked for what I was wanting to purchase for gifts. I appreciate your willingness and patience. It's extremely difficult to find good customer service it was awesome to see it wasn't lost with her. I'll definitely return to the store.”

“Great place to find a bargain on name brand men's clothing (johnny o, peter millar, mizzen and main, faherty, etc) as well as the boutique style of doodads and trinkets. I can see why the college crowd would frequent this place. casual, well made stuff for both genders.

“This store is a hidden gem. I have shopped in person, by phone, and online. The staff is always very helpful, and their recommendations are spot on. We pretty much only purchase gifts for relatives, and the recipients are always happy to when the beautifully wrapped Marigold packages arrive. Great selection and great seasonal sales as well.”

“Today, I came in from out of town to pick up a gift from the store. My problem was that I thought the store closed at 6 PM when in reality, closing time was 5:30 PM. As I was on the way, I called the store to let them know that my estimated arrival time was unfortunately a few minutes past closing time. IThey were so very kind to tell me not to worry and they would be there when I arrived. You just don't receive customer service like that anymore! Not only are the clothes and items in this store absolutely precious, but so are the people! Thank you so much!”
“I absolutely love shopping at THIS Once Upon A Child on Harbison in Columbia ! The store is SUPER clean, organized, and well stocked with clothing, shoes, toys, baby stuff like strollers and everything you need as a new mama. My older kiddos love the clothes and shoes I find here for them and the prices you can’t beat even if you are doing coupons somewhere else. It honestly has made shopping other places hard, because you just don’t find all these brands at these prices.
I also just want to add that the staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, whether I’m shopping or bringing items in to sell. They make the selling process quick and easy, and I appreciate how convenient it is to turn outgrown items into cash while giving them a second life.
In conclusion…as a parent, it’s such a relief to have a place where I can save money without sacrificing quality and let the kids go on a spree. Highly recommend to any Columbia-area family looking for great deals and a fantastic shopping experience!”

“My sister and I visited the store yesterday for the first time. She was looking for a pair of shoes for her daughter. There was an older lady working and she was so kind and patient and took the time as my niece was very fussy, she even sang with her. I was impressed with how she made everyone feel welcomed and helped my sister find just the right pair of shoes for her daughter. I am currently pregnant and looking forward to coming back and buying my baby’s first pair of shoes there.”

“The store was clean, well lit, and well stocked! If you're bringing your baby in a stroller, it is a little cramped, but definitely doable!
The woman who was working (I think her name was Yolanda) greeted me when I entered, walked around a couple of times and asked me and the other shoppers if we needed any help, and was very pleasant ringing up my order.

Unfortunately, the maker sent the order to the wrong store, and it didn’t arrive within the expected timeframe. As we were running out of time to get the outfits before the big day, Allison went above and beyond—she reached out to the company, had the clothes overnighted, and personally delivered the shirts to my workplace to ensure we had them in time.
