“I made the mistake of going to the store in Harbison, big mistake, no employees, disorganized mess, two other shoppers, one stealing and one wondering why there was no one to help, store manager (I think) completely useless. Off to the Sandhills store! What a difference, smiling faces, helpful associates, clean store, difference of night and day. They were pleased to see me and I was happy to be there. The difference between the two stores is night and day. JC Penney! get your Harbison store in order and use Sandhill's as an example. I wouldn't go back to that store if the clothes were free. I'll make the drive to go to a store where they actually care.”

“Alana was absolutely amazing!!! I was at a different old navy and needing the pink blazer desperately in a certain size. she was such a big help. She immediately put a size on hold for me, and told me what stores had them. While I tried reaching out to the surrounding old navy’s, they were very rude and not helpful. But Alana provided the best customer service and really helped me. I now have the blazer that I really needed.”

“I went into the Carter's store searching for a pair of shoes to match my two year old's outfit I bought for her school portraits, which were the next day. My daughter was super ill and wasn't making things easy on me. The store associate (Raven, if I remember correctly was the absolute best. She helped me match shoes to the outfit and informed me about the sale that was going on. She even entertained my daughter so I could get everything together and get ready to pay, which was super helpful! She did an excellent job!”

“We used to shop the store pretty regularly, but about three years ago, we noticed that the merchandise quality was deteriorating (lots of very used items that really didn’t qualify for resale) and the staff was less than stellar.Additionally, our daughter took some items in to sell and one of the employees dropped it while she was examining it, damaging the item, and simply handed it back to my daughter, and said “we don’t take damaged items” even though she had just broken it.We decided to give the store another try just this week. We were amazed at the difference. The store was clean, the merchandise was very well organized by size, type and gender, and the staff was very friendly. While we didn’t find everything we were looking for, we found several wonderful items for our granddaughter.We mentioned the difference to the cashier and she advised that the store was under new ownership. She also agreed that the store was substantially improved since the new owners took over.So, if you haven’t been to this location in a while, or ever, please drop by! I think you’ll be very pleasantly surprised.”
