“Fred Ford, I won't say anything negative towards this family. In this beginning, I want to officially and publicly apologize to Fred, his wife, Betty, and entirely to his entire family. Why you may ask, I had a family emergency, my oldest sister Iris was attacked while she was a residential woman's shelter in Brooklyn NY, I learned her attacked caused her to go into a temporary coma, the physicians did many tests, spinal tap for checking her spinal fluid, and mri, and CT scans to even check if she had a stroke. It's not entirely known, but they placed her because she wasn't mentally well, suffered pstd, bi-polar, and while I was living in Fred's trailer I wanted badly to get her housing with me so instead of her being homeless, sleeping on the bus stops, and even begging for funds to eat. I'm very deeply a d with great humbleness appreciate Fred and Betty Ford assistance. I am deeply sorry the way I left, knowing unknown if was going to be able to return and get my remaining properties left there as my vehicle I had been sleeping in Dorchester County off Interstate 26 Eastbound off the Exit before mile marker 205, Charleston County rest stop. Thank you, Fred and Betty Ford, God knows your heart and mind, I am long winded because I'm truly greatful for him taking me in and doing that work on the trailer to make it livable and I was living, restarting my life. “After trying two has stations and one store to find a restroom, tired of dealing with people who stopped smiling as soon as they decided we weren't going to purchase anything (and they were wrong!), we stopped here as a last resort. Lovely people, the gentleman at the counter could not have been nicer. We used the restroom and then spent all we'd intended to spend right here.
Yes it's crowded. It's Dollar General, not Macy's. Yes it's old. But I'd take kindness and charity over either, any day.”

“The owner is a veteran and has been in the community for quite sometime. He’s very knowledgeable and operates a convenience store that is more along the lines of a mom & pops place. I’m glad to see that he’s still in business and has everything that you need. You can purchase anything from farm fresh eggs to liquor at his store. It’s definitely a must stop at place when you’re in the area. Thank Randal for your service and dedication not only for your country but to your community as well!”
