“I really like shopping here becuae the food lion down the street is always so busy and I end up waiting in line for a long time. It also just has a nice local rural grocery store feel. My daughter and I are both autistic and it is always nice and calm without music blairing and loud noises. I will say that the GM is a really nice friendly man who is very sociable and means well but will make comments about what I have in my cart and like tell me about a deal they’re having on that item or he’ll go around telling people about a deal that’s going on unprovoked. Like I get it, he’s not doing anything wrong and he’s obviously a good guy and a good manager but sometimes it’s a bit much for certain people. Also, the check out lanes are so narrow that there’s no room to load your groceries on the belt without being ahead of your cart and no room to push it past you so the cashier or bagger can load it and it’s always so awkward. Otherwise, Im always grateful because I can’t handle the chaos of the food lion that’s closer to my house.”
“This is the only store I purchase my toiletries from because the price is always agreeable for me. I also buy hair products, sheet sets,and anything pertaining to home,this is my go to store.And it's the only place where I can buy 1pk.6roll of paper towels...for 5bucks!!”
“Always friendly and kind. Good prices on the meat but everything else is high. Thanks to whom ever is manager there the store finally does not smell bad. That was a big turn off and made people not shop there. The smell used to make the store seem dirty and nasty. Much better now. I shop often there always fast to get in and get out.”
“This store is generally neat, clean and organized. Most of the staff is friendly. But some of the older ladies seem a bit unprofessional with their bickering and gossiping. Management should have a talk with them about this. Customers shouldn't have to hear their complaints of the store or their personal life. We all have our own issues we're dealing with. We don't want to hear yours too every time we see you while you're on the clock. Customers deserve a positive shopping experience. Would recommend training more like Chick fil a. I'm sure a lot of their employees don't have perfect lives....but we will never know....”
