“This store has been in the community since I was a child. We used to call it "Mr Fred Thomas store" back then (the owner's name). They were and still are very welcoming to family, friends and travelers. Carries pretty much everything in that little country store. I always stop in to say high when I'm passing through.”
“Gene Wards is a Country Store in a convenient location leaving Georgetown going toward Andrews on HWY 521. If you are local they call you by name when you walk in the door. They have a kitchen that has good breakfast & lunch. Also, they have Diseal Fuel which is what my truck uses.”

“The biscuits are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The chicken is a 5 as well, good spices, good crunch. What the box says is true 'enough cajun spices to make it interesting but not enough to make it hurt. Tried it because of Ryan Trahan”

“Number one store for Santee South Carolina love my aunt moaned works there and my Tonka they have great service great food and you can get just about anything you need or want there.”
“As of recent months the pharmacy has closed more than usual. Very alarming, the staff seems to be consistent so what is the issue? Shortage of pharmacists.
For the days that they are open, I see the same young, black pharmacist and I want to thank her personally for coming to work with these unfortunate circumstances. I appreciate all the young black ladies back there that come to work and deal with some of these ungrateful, nasty people. I’m sure if all you have to do is complain, knowing their situation when they provide other options, they would prefer for you to go somewhere else”

“Don’t remember her name but if you go in Parkers Kitchen you may find out who Im referring to, always happy, positive attitude and although I stopped by for the first time to get diesel and went in for just a coffee, she made me and everyone inside the store leave with a smile! This will be a constant stop for me between my Conway Charleston trips from now on and next time I will get her name! Thank you for your kindness and awesome customer service.”

“I like going to this place but I wish that I could just buy what I need and leave. Every time that I go there, it always takes at least 10 minutes to get out because some random person is always at the door whenever I get in or out of the place or somebody takes forever in line. If they can fix this problem, then I would love that”
