“I am visiting Hilton Head and was getting ready to do my weeklY subcutaneous infusion at our condo when I realized that I had neglected to include my alcohol wipes to clean my injection sites. Off to Krogers we went. I asked the pharmacy employee if they could help me find the alcohol wipes and I told her why I needed them. She excused herself for a quick second and came back with 4 ,individually wrapped, alcohol wipes. She said this is what we use for injections and she said you probably already have plenty of these at home, so there’s no sense in buying more. I was so impressed with her kindness. I didn’t have to buy a box of wipes, which I was prepared to do. I thanked her profusely! She didn’t have to do that for me. But she did. Many thanks!”

1. Priscilla went the extra steps and secured a very favorable price for a new prescription not covered by insurance. She was proactive, thorough and persistent. It was like dealing with an old school family pharmacy. THAT IS A COMPLIMENT!
2. Mina, the manager actually helped me outside to find a lost prescription in the parking lot. Both examples are extremely rare in this current culture.

“Probably the best grocery store on HHI. Definitely the largest with a selection that is more traditional of any suburban area. Other grocery stores are good, but feel a little smaller and more limited on selection. They have a wide selection of steaks and fish at the seafood counter. Also feels very new and has a pretty good amount of prepared foods as well.”
“No menus, cash only....but amazing, authentic Mexican (not gringo or TexMex) tacos. Fresh fruit juices (guava, mango...). They probably have more items, but we were jonesing good tacos. We got some tamales to go. My kind of place!

“Absolutely one of the finest general stores I have been to. Short and to the point, no BS (baloney sandwich) small talk about the antiacids I required due to poor diet decisons made earlier in the day. Keeps street rats(kids) in check when they are misbehaving in the store. Will be doing all my late night nic nac runs here for the rest of my life. Truly amazing people.”
