“My husband and I first visited Lowcountry Olive Oil Company last September when we were in Charleston for our anniversary. We purchased 3 different balsamic vinegars and 3 olive oils. We have fallen in LOVE with them, and I just placed my first order for more. It's hard to know what to try next ... they are all so good! We use them for mixed drinks, marinades, salad dressings and more. You have to try them out!”

Sylvia is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. If she doesn't know the answer to something, she'll happily find it for you—and I really appreciate that honesty. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and is passionate about what she does.
She personally hand-selects every item in the shop and truly stands behind each one. You can feel the thought, love, and intention that goes into every piece. Her crystals and stones are humanely sourced, which is something I deeply respect and will always support.
I also loved learning that the shark tooth jewelry is made by a local artist using shark teeth collected from the Charleston beach area. How cool is that?!
If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Lowcountry Whimsy. And if you're lucky, you'll get to meet Sylvia too. It made the experience even more special. ✨”
“I made an online order from Zinnia (for a Maison Berger lampe and refills) and they fulfilled the order quickly. The order was double-boxed and bubble wrapped, which I appreciate considering the fragile contents.

“Today I came in to look around and ended up leaving with a few things. I love permanent jewelry, and I am extremely picky about what I like and what I want. Which I guess that’s pretty reasonable when you are wearing something that you can’t really remove. Today I found a beautiful butterfly ankle bracket and I was going to have it shorten to make a wrist bracelet. They said it was something they could do, however due to the material, not being sterling silver. It would just turn black on my arm. I really appreciate the honesty. They could’ve done it, and I could’ve been disappointed about a month later. I continued looking at bracelets, and I came across the Southern Gates Collection. They are reasonably priced and they had different sizes. I found two that fit my wrist very snug, which is what I like, and the ladies agreed that they would solder them to make them permanent. I absolutely love my bracelets and will be back to finish my stack of the collection.”
“A Maker’s Post is one of my favorite spots on Sullivan’s Island. Their gift selection is always so beautifully curated, thoughtful pieces from local artisans alongside unique finds from around the world. It’s the kind of place where you feel inspired just walking through the door. The back room is especially magical, like a little greenhouse sanctuary tucked away in the shop.
I also have the joy of photographing for them and they’re such a pleasure to work with. Every visit brings something new and I can never seem to leave empty handed!”

Without hesitation, Mia said no problem, went to the back of the shop, and printed it out for me in less than five minutes! That level of service is rare to find. They have several flavors including some with interesting combinations , which taste great too!Wish I would have bought more while I was there on vacation but didn’t know how all were going to taste until I was back in my state. “I just wanted to put a notation on here that the staff at the West Ashley location for edible arrangements namely a lady named Kat. I believe her real name is Catherine absolutely went out of her way and above and beyond to make sure that my anniversary bouquet to my wife were exactly as they needed to be for the edible arrangement all the way down to the bouquet of flowers..
Although I didn’t get the delivery man’s name, he has delivered at our complex before for other people and he has very attentive and knowledgeable of our staff and everybody there is a pleasure to deal with and we will absolutely recommended this store since it is the edible arrangements that does deliver to the Merchant apartment complex. We will suggest their service above all others when it comes to edible arrangements. . Once again, thank you, Kat and the delivery gentleman”
“My mom and I have been purchasing Gullah Gourmet mixes for the past 25 years. We used to love their booth at Christmas Made in the South. Now that our town no longer hosts the craft show, it has gotten harder to find the mixes, but any visit to Charleston means we stock up!”

“Not sure why so many negative reviews. I found several Patriot’s Point/USS Yorktown souvenirs and the employees were all pleasant. This is also a great spot if you’re looking for Charleston themed souvenirs as well during your trip. To top it off, they sell some local baked goods at the front including pralines.”
