We tried the Brunch burger with a side of tallow fries. 🤩🔥 Both items were delicious! The fries were tasty, crispy and simple with just the right amount of salt.
The brunch burger comes with an egg but I had them leave it off. The cheese, bacon jam and croissant bun sounded like it would be enough for me and I was not disappointed. Can't wait to try more of their new creations.

By far, the best wine experience I have had in N.C. I am not a wine connoisseur but I do know what I like, as well as just enjoying the experience. The property and sitting area is picturesque. My wife and I stumbled upon the elevated tasting and it was amazing. They have 2 different flights to choose from. We each got one so we could try everything. The owner’s son chatted with us and we learned about the property and how his family came to be there, and then Eric guided us through the wines. He was obviously knowledgeable, but also took his time and we were able to enjoy conversations with him. The flights were only $40 a piece and a fantastic value. I felt the wines were much better than the one we usually have closer to home in the Yadkin Valley. Most importantly, the overall experience was the best we’ve had. I could recommend it more.

I lived around here for 3 years and didn’t know about this gem until today. Where we come from flavor matters and the food did not miss the target at all. Full of home cooked flavor where it makes you say “oh my gosh” on an empty stomach. We will be back.

Overmountain Vineyards

Make a reservation. You will be asked when you are greeted at the door if you have a reservation, we didn't know and we were asked as soon as we stepped foot in the door. Set the tone. We were excited to try this place as we are long time supporters of NC wine makers, and it's a beautiful place but alas we will venture on down the mountain.
Sangria was good.
