“This gas station has been a staple in my life since before I can remember. They got voodoo chips and the lottery tickets are on point. Also you can get a cool dgk vape or some CBD gummies if you need it. I recommend this place cause they got a booth inside and you can chill for a minute and scratch a ticket in the AC on a hot day while you sip on a monster. Actually back in the day I used to buy those sandwiches from dominoes and eat at the BP. Keep it up BP.”

“This is a small gas station with very little to choose from inside the convenience store.The store is clean and the pumps are well maintained.Gas is on the more expensive side compared to nearby gas stations as well.”

F. Y. I. Prices are anywhere from 10 - 40¢ cheaper at this station compared to Town of Lexington and the truck stops (off I20, exits 51 & 55). If you have a Walmart+ account or Walmart Gift Card or credit card you take an additional 10¢ off the price as well.”

“My goto gas station after hours. Their beer cave is a little limited, but if its midnight on a friday, I’m more than happy to take what i can get. I love supporting this place because the staff is SO FRIENDLY. SO PROFESSIONAL. The bald guy is really friendly and helpful, the lady is very welcoming and compassionate and the girl is a sweetheart. I love spending my money at this gas station. It beats the Circle K down the road by a long shot. Costumer service is 6 stars at this location ??”

“Don't know why these people are crying. Probably just some attention seekers..The place is awesome with courteous customer service. I've never been done wrong and was always greeted with a friendly smile. Some people just like to stir up strife because they're miserable with themselves..The saying is true. Misery does love company. If you don't like the store or you feel some type of way about the nicest people I know then walk on down the street to another store. No reason to slander these people..”

“It's tiny and may not have the largest selection.. but here are the pros: the staff is so nice and always remember you, they don't allow panhandlers to accost their customers, and it's easy to get in and out quick. Compared to other stations close by, I choose to visit this one bc I am always comfortable stopping here.”

This place is your go-to spot .It puts you in the mind of a Bodega in New York. But believe me, it's all southern. A definite go-to place for breakfast in Columbia, South Carolina”

“This is a very nice and busy Sonoco travel center. It is convenient to i20 and Hwy 1. I stopped in for gas because the gas prices were the best. The store was very clean. There was an array of store items to choose from, which I like. Staff seemed a bit stressed by the volume of shoppers and but they remained friendly.”

“This Speedway West Columbia 378 is the best service station I've been in and it's all due to the staff the girls are great thank you girls for being so good to me and thank you for the good job you do keep up the good work I hope you get the things that you need go see the speedway this is the best Speedway I love this place and I love the staff do not go to Gastonia North Carolina Speedway Franklin Boulevard that is the worst Speedway and they are sorry they have problems I'm from Gastonia but I live down here West Columbia 378 East Speedway. “During peak times, the store can get a bit overwhelmed. Their card readers and the whole system can sometimes freeze for a few minutes if you use tap and pay (this is multiple Murphy Express, not just this one). Sometimes, employees aren't really performing up to even substandard quality, especially when it is busy. The bathrooms are usually okay, but again, peak times can cause them to get very dirty, very fast.
All of that aside, it isn't up to the employees to make the work inside flow better. It is up to the managers and their training. If you're lackadaisical about your job, so will your employees be. It isn't on the employees to complain a million times about their outdated technology, it is up to owners.
The place is beside a busy highway and gets appropriately busy. Tonight, the cashier was extremely slow, which helId up everyone at a pretty busy time. Thatp just seemed like a lack of training for busy times. All the little issues can be fixed, and the employees don't get paid enough to deal with some of the nonsense that walks through the door.
This Murphy Express is one of the better ones we've been in and seems to be steadily improving.”

“Omggoodness...I loveeeee this convenient store. I wish I knew all the employees names that I interacted with so I could brag about them. Beautiful energy and friendly employees.. One particular employee that I do know her name is shamera. She has an awesome personality and truly cares about the customers that walk through the door. I go to this store when I work because of their vibes. Kudos to all of them. Keep up the amazing work. We definitely need more ppl like them in this world.”

“With the new updates to the menu and waiting system this place became an unbeatable stop to refill gas and food. Their food, all of it, is quite possibly the best Mexican food around, and it’s a GAS STATION! That in itself is amazing but the people inside are always nice and smiling, and the gas is always priced well, it’s just a must to eat. Plus with the updated waiting beepers you can order, go fill up the car, clean out the trash, and go get your food when the beeper goes off. I highly recommend. Also, contrary to some comments, they DO understand and speak English just fine. Stop being Jerks.”
