Sheba's Doggy Day Camp
70 Turkey Creek Road, YorkSheba’s Doggy Day Camp is my fur babies home away from home! The staff does an amazing job playing and interacting with the dogs. The management team is quick to reply and so very helpful! Shebas also gives the very best baths! My pups are always well groomed.
Sheba’s also partners with FurBaby Ranch to find dogs a forever home! This is how we found our sweet Sadie June. Sheba’s had been caring for Sadie June and we feel so fortunate to have her now with us.
I travel so much and I never have to worry about my dog’s care as long as they are at Shebas! My Jack Russel jumps out of my truck and straight into the Sheba Shuttle!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Southern Touch Bakery, Coffee Shop & Cafe
25 South Congress Street, YorkAbsolutely love this spot, I have enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches, chicken salad, tuna salad, and egg salad. My favorite and what I would recommend is getting it on a croissant and toasted! Service is efficient and even when they are busy, the food comes out quickly! Great example of a hidden gem!

Windy Hill Orchard & Cidery
1860 Black Highway, YorkThe donuts are amazing, the cider is delicious! The pies were perfect. That being said, dont go expecting to actually pick apples. Lots of millennials drinking hard cider flights though. Its definitely the draw.
Edit: On the 11th of October, there was no apple picking.

Richardson Rescue
1968 State Rd S-46-168, YorkAmazing nice when I walked in. It took weeks to decide whether we could give our baby charlie up but between the kids and cats we were left with no choice. These two women did NOT make me feel worse then I already felt leaving him. But I am happy to know they really look into everyone getting a dog so I know he will be well taken care of. I believe we made the right choice in leaving him with them. The other dogs looked so happy and weren't in concrete 2×2 prison cells like everyone elses shelters. Thank you so much and I wish charlie the best home and loved ones he definitely deserves ❤️

Chapman's Dachshund Rescue
1200 State Rd S-46-817, YorkI adopted my sweet Charlie from here back in 2017. The process was simple and Gina was very easy to work with. I had many wonderful years with my sweet boy before he passed away a couple years ago. When we are ready to adopt another one, we will definitely go back to Chapman's.
