321 S Polk St, PinevilleI am writing this review because of all the less than favorable reviews from people who clearly don't know how a rescue works. This is a rescue, not a department store to come in and buy a parrot. That is what I am sorry to say, is what Petsmart does. People have commented about the staff not being friendly. They are not waitresses or salespeople. Many are volunteers. The main objective is to take care of the birds and help people adopt our birds. They are not selling them. Someone wrote that some of the birds don't look that great. People, these are rescue birds. Some of them have been living in really bad conditions. You wouldn't look too great either if you had been through what these birds have lived through. If you want to have a bird to just show off to people, go to a breeder and pay thousands of dollars for the "perfect bird" I wish people would just keep their mouths shut if they don't know what they are talking about. This is a fantastic rescue. The birds are well taken care and that is what is important. They have a well thought out adoption process. They want to make sure the birds are going to good homes, not a home that puts them back into a horrible environment again. Birds are complicated creatures. They aren't just something to pick up at Petsmart and throw in a cage. People need to familiarize themselves with what a rescue is intended to be, not what they think it should be before passing judgment in a post.

10833 Pineville Rd, PinevilleI’ve been bringing my dog here for almost five years now, ever since I first got him, and I couldn’t ask for a better veterinary team. Everyone is always so kind, professional, and easy to work with. Whether it’s been routine vaccinations, checkups, or today’s dental cleaning (our first time doing one under anesthesia), I’ve always felt completely confident that my dog is in good hands. I was really nervous about the dental procedure, but the entire process was smooth, reassuring, and handled with such care and attention. I truly appreciate how well the clinic is run, how well we’re treated every time, and the genuine love they show for animals. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog’s care!

Friendship Animal Hospital

My dog and I are staying with friends in Pineville as our home in Asheville has no water or power. Pearl was overdue for her monthly Librela shot as our Vet was in a similar predicament.
My friends recommended Friendship, I called Thursday morning but had doubts about being able to get Pearl an appointment soon. I noticed that Pearl starts to labor more as the shot’s due date approaches.
Anna Marie answered my call, she was very understanding and wonderful, working us in later that morning. The Vet Tech who assessed Pearl was equally wonderful and helpful. I wish I could remember his name. Doctor Premo graciously gave Pearl an exam and the Librela shot. Everyone from start to end of our visit was caring and empathic of our situation.
Pearl improved later that afternoon and one of my friends made note of her improvement.

315 Main St A, PinevilleExcellent experience! Very organized, wonderfully detailed notes to update us every day on how our cats were doing, really nice facilities.
Cons: extremely expensive, and we wished they could have been more flexible on timing for pick up day.
We will board again with them!

Fluffs of Luv Pet Sitting
315 Main St A, PinevilleWe used Fluffs of Luv for the first time this past week. We had never left our sweet dog, Blue with sitters before and we were very nervous. I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Felicia is exceptional-she came out for our consultation and Blue immediately loved her. The journal updates and pictures were great. They are very punctual. Bri and Melody were also great with Blue as well. Fluffs of Luv genuinely cares about making your animals feel loved. I cannot recommend Fluffs of Luv enough. We will definitely be using them again.

10400 Centrum Pkwy A, PinevilleDefinitely a gem. The Bahn Mi is quickly becoming my fav. From the veggies to the cilantro with the perfect amount of meat. This place is at the top of my list. Went looking for matcha and discussed sandwich bliss. The bread is so fresh that I usually don’t like my sandwich toasted but in this case it was perfect. The first time I ever had a sandwich where the meat taste fresh off the grill. The only draw back is this place is too darn far. I would also add a bit more fresh cilantro and a hint of spice…That said the taste will have to live in my memory until we meet again because gas is to darn high…

400 N Polk St B, PinevilleNice little spot on Pineville. My second time there. Right off South Boulevard. Just enough parking. Entrance around the right side. Large and open indoor bar and seating. Clean and neat. I'm not a drinker, but lots of selection of beer, cider and hard seltzer. Separate food ordering spot. Simple menu. Burgers, wings, salads, a good selection. We had fried pickles, mushroom burger(hot and fresh), buffalo chicken wrap and chicken Caesar salad. All very good.
We ate outside on the patio overlooking the driving range. Great choice. Excellent service as well. We will be going back.
