“Serious water issues!I stayed here for 3 nights. The first two nights I had no hot water at all. The final night I had hot water, but the water was contaminated and brown. The front desk staff didn't even alert the guests; the least they could have done is warn them not to drink the water.Someone from the staff knocked on my door in the morning and asked if I was planning on checking out. Check out is at 11AM.This was 10:30 Pierre time; however this hotel is located in Mountain Time. So essentially they try to force you out an hour early. I'm in Pierre yearly for the legislative session and will NEVER stay here again, I will also actively discourage my coworkers from staying here.Safety: Unsafe water”

“Beautiful and charming rustic Inn. Check in was seamless and quick. Room was delightfully decorated and the beds are comfortable. I enjoyed a soak in the tub with jets!! Easy to find the place. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was just what I needed. Highly recommend visiting this lovely home.Nearby activities: We came to see the Christmas Tree display at the state capital building.”

“Had to ding on service only because of the bar for the event. Always LONG lines.Rooms: Pleased with my handicap room. Walk in shower with chair was convenient.Nearby activities: Park and river are right there, as well as Red Rosa, fine dining restaurant in neighboring hotel.Food & drinks: Nice to have good food and a bar on-site. Plenty of places deliver and door dash is available too.”

“Very nice and hospitable inn. Clean and good sized rooms. Pretty courtyard area and if you are able to reserve a room on the first floor you MUST get one with convenient access to the courtyard. You’ll have your own little porch ? with small shade trees. The pool is perfect for kids…. with an awesome slide! They (thankfully) have a hot tub too!!! As I stated the rooms are nice and big with all the amenities, fridge, microwave, sitting area and plenty of space for EVERYONES suitcases ?. The breakfast was above par on the basic complimentary style, but what really took it up even another notch was the nice red earthenware dishes, real stainless steel flatware and the nod to cleanliness and detail. (This is a make or break for our family) If you’re staying in the beautiful capital of Pierre, South Dakota this is where you must stay! ????”
