The combination of the two led to the opening of this simply wonderful boutique. To see her vision for style and ability to create unique looks was, alone, worth the visit. Add to that, the warmth given and the interest in each patron and the marvelous choices of clothing (Somer does her own merchandising)from denim to mother of the bride dresses, it is a worthwhile trip to check it out. “I am brand new to shopping at Maurices. I just wanted to give a complete shout-out to all the wonderful teenagers, young Gen Z's who all work at the Empire Mall location of Maurices. I can walk in at any time, and any one of the Gen Z girls... are extremely kind-hearted, so very helpful and helping me size my clothes. I recently lost a lot of weight and I had been basing my size off of my old plus size. The other week, I was in and I asked for a 2XL and one employee said, that I should try either a LARGE or XL in regular sizing. In disbelief that I could fit in those two sizes, I took them to the back and tried them on. To my shock... I fit very nicely in a LARGE .... Wow.... The girls tag-team each other so a variety of employees all help all of us in the dressing rooms... brilliant idea on the management's part. I cannot stress enough how accommodating these employees are for my age group (I am 56). I quit going to the other competitors in the Empire Mall, just on the helpfulness of each employee at this Maurices location. Each and every time, I'm almost near tears of JOY, leaving and I always make sure I personally walk up to the employees and sincerely thank them for their kind help. Bless you all.”

“tonight megan the manager and hanna, a young employee, wenr above and beyond to accommodate me tonight. they didn't have my size they didn't have one for me to try on caus my size rib cage is one of the more uncommon sizes. Meghan spent forever looking in back and hanna spent awhile looking online and they did not stop until they were able to accommodate the style i wanted and my size. I am very very impressed by megans management skills and that's probably why she has a bunch of awesome young girls for employees not once did they get mad at me or make me feel badd for being frustrated as a female. They just did all they could to help.”

“I only buy work shoes at Skechers. I won't speak to the quality of the shoes, because the employees don't have control over that. I will say that every single employee I encountered was helpful, happy, and kind. From the moment I walked in the door, every employee asked if I was finding everything okay, if I needed help, or if they could help me with anything. But they never did it in an annoying way. Just doing their rounds, if you will.This store always has the BOGO 50% off sale. The employees made sure to let me and other customers know exactly what was included in the sale. This seems so small, but it saves so many headaches at the register. I am sure people have made it up to the register with items that don't qualify and have given the employees a hard time about it. This proactive measure ensures customers and employees aren't dealing with that frustration at the register.I ended up needing to exchange a pair of shoes that I had purchased. I came back the next day and was greeted and treated the same as the day before. There were no issues with the exchange.Management should be so pleased with the service these employees provide. Working retail definitely isn't for everyone, but these staff members do it with a smile. Awesome job!”
