“Anything less than a 5-star review for this place just wouldn’t make sense. This is hands down one of the best non-commercial campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at. The front office staff? Absolutely top-notch—genuinely kind and welcoming.
Everything here is affordable, including the small on-site store, which has fair prices (unlike the overpriced KOAs). Even the water toy rentals are reasonably priced.
I’m honestly over the moon about this place. If you’ve read any negative reviews, don’t give them a second thought—they completely miss the mark. This is a must-stop spot: family-friendly, pet-friendly, and downright beautiful.”

One of the two super sweet ladies that were working this morning said not to worry about it and pulled the change out her pocket. I wanted to hug them both! What amazing people. “Spearfish, SD has two locations, one on Evans Lane, and one on North Street. Both have excellent customer service, but the North St. location is far superior. The building is much nicer, the location is great, and they offer hot food 24/7.”

“This is a place I go almost everyday because it's just a nice place to stop if you need some gas or want a good slushie or coffee, or both! They have always been friendly to us and especially our service dog. He probably likes to go as much as we do! Thanks for the customer service that keeps us coming back. Keep being awesome.”
