Grocery Stores in Sturgis, SD

“From my experience, this is the better grocery store of the two in Sturgis, SD. Not happy with the Sky-High prices at Lynn's Dakotamart, I stopped by the Grocery Mart yesterday.Prices are a bit better, and they do have Sale items. My only disappointment, and a Big one.. was the Meat Department. I bought two big Pork Shoulders to smoke and make some NC style pulled pork. On sale for $1.99lb - Nice. But also needed a half-dozen NY Strip Steaks.There was a bunch of strip steaks in the cooler, but they were all cut 1" or less thick !!! Seriously folks? Those would be breakfast steaks, NOT Grilling Steaks! If the steak is not at least 2" thick, you cannot get a good, crusty sear on the grill, while keeping the body of the steak medium-rare. And Butcher worth his salt would know that. >”

“My son’s birthday is like a week and a half before Halloween. This year he requested a Halloween themed cake that was made with using cupcakes. I went through the book on my lunch break and found a picture of Jason that I figured he’d like. I requested that, with, “Happy 13th birthday Giovanni” on it. I figured they’d just write it in red or black and put a border around it with frosting, the same color as the writing. When I went to pick it up yesterday after work, I was blown away!! I thought it looked so cool and loved how they decorated it! It was very creative!! When I picked my son up from school and showed him his cake, he was so excited and commented on how cool it looked. I will continue getting my family’s birthday cakes from Lynn’s! They always taste so good.”

“Great place and great prices. Always have everything from seasonal to car care, they got it! Find myself going in for one thing and come out with 20 other things. Inventory always good at each one i've been to.”
