“My son ordered the ultimate meat sub, the selection of meats was incredible (Boars head London broil, Bores head roast beef infused with a red port soon good). I ordered the brisket. Also tried the cheesy chicken enchilada soup, ohhh soo very good. Everything was amazing! Will take photos next time.”

“Good food, great prices for bulk foods. Also has soaps, lotions, things to make herbal tinctures etc. Deli has cold sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, a special hot sandwich for each day, meats, and cheese. The grill is now open and serving hamburgers.

“Last minute decision to stop here today. Glad I did, while checking out the meat department it became apparent that the meat in this store looked better and leaner than any other store in Greeneville. Including Food City, Ingles and especially Walmart. After mentioning this to an employee, she got the attention of the meat manager. She told him I had a compliment for him. I told him that this meat department has better quality and appearance than ANY store in town. He said he has been doing it for 42 years! Outstanding! He sliced a pork tenderloin for me, perfect for breakfast sandwiches. Everyone in the store was nice and very polite. You do not see polite people working in other stores. Great Job at this Save A Lot!!!”
“Great Store, well lit, great delli, great produce and a great bakery. I bought my wife a white cake, butter cream frosting and her friend bought a similar cake at food city. Everyone agreed that the Ingles cake was MUCH better!”
“I really enjoy shopping at the Greeneville store. Everyone that works there is so pleasant and helpful and there are always a lot of good deals. Only place in town with good meat quality and prices. However it would be wonderful if you had a motorized shopping cart for those of us who need it occasionally. I would definitely be able to shop there more often. Many disabled people on a fixed income could definitely benefit from your low prices. I hope you will consider adding one to your store.”
“This was the first time I've ever had to fight stockers to actually move around a food city. I mean I didnt literally fight them... but I've never had them be in the way before... but.. they were super helpful and polite. The store was clean and inviting. Sales well marked. “I just left the food city on Asheville Highway in Greenville, Tennessee and I cannot say how please that was with Philip, CJ, Natalie, and Aiden. Their patience with me when I made a mistake regarding the digital coupons and the specials that I had selected, by not reading closely enough, I felt awful, being “that” customer. Especially being “that” client just as Philip was getting off work :(. I would like to make mention of these four employees, their patience, and understanding of my mistake. .This “I am sorry” doesn’t happen enough as unfortunately, or fortunately , the customer is “not” always right..”

“It's just what I needed. Get in get out not running across a football field just to pick up a small item. We use this place a lot for a fast snack for the kids I like it much better than a gas station for snacks and treats. Options might be small but it's a simple fast solution.”

“Thank you mark the best dollar general employee ever. First he let me swap out my oil for the right one that I didn’t get. It was the same price and I only just walked outside but he didn’t give me any grief and didn’t make me feel stupid for not knowing what oil my car took. Then I lost a hundred dollar bill while I was there. So when I came back I was looking for it and he was helping me. He found it in the first few minutes while I was outside finishing my steps and looking around. He came outside and gave it to me. That’s some real standup stuff man I’m so grateful for you getting that stress up off me. I’d be looking all day for it. You are a rare group of people these days and I’m glad you helped me id give this place 100 stars because of marks honesty”
“Sense I moved to Greeneville my first pharmacy was this one right here. I had broken out on my arms and legs from chiggers. The lead pharmacist was warm, polite and knowledgeable so as of today it remained my pharmacy of choice besides the 24 hour over priced Walgreens but only go there because of my work schedule. Food city remains number 1 and they are open on Sundays even if the other 2 here in Greeneville are closed. Tiz true ?”
