“Drove to crossville with friends. Wanted to stop here to grocery shop. Much to my surprise the hours listed on here are wrong. They close at 7pm not 8pm. The hours need updated to reflect this change.”
“A little small store with a little bit of everything for everybody. Only thing is, if you think you're gonna like it.Get as much as you want, because the next time you go back, it will all be gone”

“I just gave Happy Sac Exxon a very poor review ( for good reason !) And highly recommended 101 market! This is a great little store because of the people who work here! And it's no wonder when the owner sets such a great example for instance, the day I stopped there because I am a diabetic and my blood sugar suddenly dropped I was shaking and felt like I might pass out. I went straight to the coffee area and started pouring and eating some sugar while telling the owner who was the cashier that day what was going on he was very concerned asked if I needed a soda urged me to stay in the store for a few minutes and when I left he walked outside to make sure I was ok! Now that's customer service! Thanks 101!”
“this location is great and close to home. manager is very business like and friendly. so are the other staff esp the older lady. hate to say it like that but she's so sweet!!!”
“Love this place, everyone is so nice and friendly. I prefer it over the happy sak because it feels like a bit slower pace & the workers actually have time to greet you & chat for a minute. I have to back track home to go to tansi market but it’s worth it.”
“Just in time for your summer needs this location is once again open. The newly remodeled store is full of all your everyday needs from general health and beauty products to housewares to frozen and refrigerated foods as well as all the pantry staples like canned vegetables and breakfast cereal. Plenty of parking out front in the large parking lot Dollar General is a one stop shop for all your everyday needs.”
“This is our go-to place for just about anything. Store is clean, stocked, and distance safety is practiced here. The clerks are very helpful and attentive. We love visiting this location.”
“I like DG. If you're in a hurry and just need to get in, get out this is the place to go. Staff is pleasant and for the size of the store, it has a little of everything.”
“This dollar general is just like all the others, but for the staff. They are always friendly, helpful, and ready to offer a kind word. The store is always clean and stocked.Always a pleasure to visit.”
“So glad its here. I was just visiting relatives and staying at the rental cabins on Lake Tansi. Is so great that I did not have to drive into town to get items. Of course there is not a big city here so it does not have everything. But I knew that when I came to the area. The staff was better then many of the employees I have run into in my 70 years of traveling the world. there was a young man there who did not make me feel like an old fool like so many do. I wish there where more people like that in customer service. they should be honored to have such great people like him there. IF l I was in charge I would want to make sure to pay a fair wage to keep people like him. I don't know the names of the employees there. But I thought of referring him to my friends who have own there own business else where. k peace”

“I bought some pulled pork and smoked bologna from the staff outside at the trailer. Both were awesome tasting, great job smoking crew! Will definitely be watching for their return to the Crossville store.”
“Love what they have here - Starbucks and fantastic bakery. I do think the Peavine location in Crossville is pretty expensive compared to downtown Food City location- it is very convenient though for those living in Fairfield Glade or staying at Wyndham. I gave them 4 stars for this location due to prices, but the convenience and quality of what they provide make it worth it - certainly would rather they stayed open than closed due to less foot traffic than downtown. If the prices were less I would do 90% of my grocery shopping there.”
“It's a decent tiny little store. Although I the cashier seemed like her night was going poorly and she just wanted it to end but she was still polite, cordial and wished us a goodnight. It's the little things that make a difference. Five Stars!”
“Decently sized mini-mart. Seems like they have a bigger hot food selection but because of covid-19 it might be on hold. Decent selection of products, they also offer 100% Gasoline with no Ethanol”
“I am a DG girl. I moved to Crossville, 2 years ago. First thing I did was scope out the DG stores are in Crossville, and I located the "best one," and this is it. I didn't have to stretch across boxes, or try to see behind piles of merchandise not yet put away. Everything was organized and clean. The bathroom was clean and stocked and didn't smell like a bathroom. The employees are friendly, and know many of their patrons by name.Go check this one out, you won't be disappointed.”
“I tend to shop after checking sales ads. Whichever store has lowest prices on six pack of Mt. Dew is where I grocery shop for my family of 6. Never shop at Walmart because they never have sales here. Food city, Kroger and Price Less. This store recently had a great sale on Mt. Dew, and I spent over $400 that day. Their overall prices are competitive. I use self checkout at Food City....no self checkout at Price Less fyi”
“Love the employees, very knowledgeable of thier inventory and not to mention, cant find what you are looking for, just ask one of the girls, always willing to help.”

“Sometimes in our busy non-stop, instant gratification expecting lives fueled by social media and wanting everything "NOW", we fail to realize that people for the most part are doing the right thing. We are all human, we all have good days and bad days, we all make mistakes, and unless you've worked retail you have no idea what these people deal with.If you got fired or your partner is unfaithful or you are stressed about finances, for you to take that out on a pharmacy tech because your kids antibiotics aren't ready, you need to step back and reflect on what you are doing.Call ahead, don't expect them to run to fill your script as soon as the clock hits day 30, and understand that with Rite Aids closure, the sheer lack of Crossville individuals willing to work and the volume of both prescriptions and unpleasant people they deal with daily might delay some things.Be open-minded and thank them when they present great service which they often do.I like Kroger and the pharmacy team I just wish I wasn't in Crossville.”
“I love shopping here! Quick trips to heavy shopping days, this place is accommodating!! And the employees are amazing!! The bathroom is always clean and stocked too!!”
“I absolutely love this Dollar General. Going into Crossville as a long ride and coming out of Crossville is this little Dollar General and I absolutely love it a little treat after having to drive all that way.”
“I've always said "I'll NEVER get a script filled at Walmart because the line is always at least 10 people long".. Until the day I had to get an emergency script, and they had the best price for a cash patient. There I stood - 12 people deep in line, and to my shock and amazement-I was being called next in about a minute and a half..barely enough time for me to log into Facebook!! The employee was SOOO kind, and NEVER did she make me feel rushed. So, I transferred other prescriptions there, and I've been going there ever since each time less than 2 minutes in the line. But the REAL takeaway is that I've been on maintenance medication for years. At any time, I have been dispensed a generic that may be a different shape or color-and working in the medical field I never thought twice about it (also bc the label states as such). But this is THE FIRST TIME EVER that a PHARMACIST has personally pulled me aside to make me aware of this. WOW. That speaks VOLUMES to their awareness of patient advocacy!! Well done, Walmart pharmacy in Crossville, TN- well done. ?”
“They work so hard at this location on 127 North. There are never enough people to work (which I hear is demanding above and beyond, but that's DG as a whole. They don't make it easy for their employees, hence the large turnover of employees), so the ones that are there work their tail feathers off. It's always clean and neat despite the problems they have and I've not really ever had a cashier with an attitude since I've been shopping there almost 7 years.”
“Great prices on products and quick to go in and get what you need and leave. Staff isn't always friendly or attentive. Staff lack of product knowledge and in stock knowledge lacks severely. But overall it's a great place to go if you're needing a handful of items.”
“Stopped in the other day. We purchased some chocolate milk, cheese and butter. We also bought espresso ice cream, it was really good. The mint chip, was not that great, I LOVE mint chip but this was missing the chocolate chips, just a few scattered in it. Also GOOD mint chip does not need to be green!! Won't be wasting money and buying that green stuff again.”
