“We were given the opportunity to fundraise at this store, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff—from the owner all the way to the cart wrangler, some of the best people I’ve ever met. The customers were just as kind—loving, generous, and supportive.
While we were there, I also got to do a little shopping, and I was genuinely impressed. Great selection, including some hard-to-find items you’d usually only see in high-end grocery stores.

“I have been going to the Dollar General in Athens for about 2 months now. Every time I go in there the young guy follows me around the store. I guess he thinks I am stealing. Or he wants a date !!!! I have kids older than he is. I am probably good 40 years older than him. But I wonder what this boy would do if he actually did see someone stealing? He can’t put his hands on a customer, and he only weighs 150 lbs . I don’t think Athens City is going to come tires smoking or guns blazing over dollar store merchandise. I wonder if he has thought bout that? A store wrongly accuses a customer of Theft, that’s one heck of a liability. And it’s so annoying getting followed, every time I turn the corner, he’s there. Not very good at being a loss prevention dude. Those cats at Walmart could teach him a few things. They r the pros”
“Very nice people. The store store is clean and organzied well. I like the location too! Right near everything I go to (groceries, health department, courthouse, ACE, post office, etc) and the pricss are great lol”

“Farley priced for being a convenience gas station. Customer service is wonderful and store is always 100% clean and they sell soft serve ice cream of any flavor they also have 100% gas available and are open till 10:30 7 days a week the only thing I would change is ask them to sell kerosene.”
