“Unbelievable selection for the prices, some cold items, many pantry items and their pay it forward system is so rare and amazing. If more companies like this existed the world would truly be a better place. “Going here for lunch is consistently the happiest moment of my week. The deli is incredible. French dip, bacon egg and cheese, mortadella egg and cheese, hot Italian beef are all top notch. Deli offerings are fantastic too. Highly recommend the potato salad. Not to mention I can always find a great snack to go with it. They always have a great offering of international chips. Staff is incredibly kind and friendly. By far the best quick lunch spot in all of downtown.”
“I ? Aldi's!!! My favorite is the Ahi Tuna which is in the frozen food section. Fruit & veggies are always good quality. Unfortunately, the nearest store is 25 miles away. Wish there was a store in my town.”

“It was my favorite grocery store when I lived in Powell. Moved to Knoxville and miss it. They have the best hot food bar. My sister stopped in and got us both lunch today. It was better than most restaurants. We both got fried chicken. I got corn bread, green beans, and mashed potatoes with mine. It was so fresh and hot. Tasted homemade. You get a 32oz fountain drink for $1 more. The plate lunch is $7. I also got a small side of kruat and weiners. It was all so good. This store is so clean & the employees are so sweet & always provide excellent customer service. The Lura Lynn brands are just as good as national brands. I wish I had an Ingles close to me. Excellent store, great products, fresh produce, deli is great. A complete homemade lunch for $8!! Two people for less than $20.00! Thanks Ingles Powell. ?”
“I love this store mainly because of their deli options and their staff is very helpful. But sometimes I walk in and the store smells bad but other than that it's great. Their fruits and veggies are always fresh and their displays are full and eye-catching and the prices are better than Kroger.”

“I had several things to pick up at the grocery today. I stopped at Aldi first, then went on to Walmart for things Aldi didn't have. I took the time me to compair prices between Walmart & Aldi, and I saved quite a bit of money. Every item I compaired prices cheaper at Aldi”

“I love Ingles. Beautiful products, fresh produce, great deal on meat selections. The butchers, produce staff, deli counter staff are always so helpful and pleasant. Store is clean. If you aren’t aware of the incredible Italian cart in the back of the store near bakery dept., you’re missing a hidden gem. This is at the Oak Ridge store. They carry Sclafani Italian products. Not what you find in average stores. This is the real deal in authentic Italian goods.”
“My sister stopped and picked up my lunch from this location today. I got meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas, a roll & peach ice tea. It was all very good and tasted homemade. Tuesday is "Italian Day," but I got a traditional meal. I also got 3 of the potato wedges that are battered and really tasty. It's a really good and nicely priced lunch option. Food City is a clean store with fresh produce and fresh meats as well. Nice staff. Has a gas station you can use your points at to.”

This morning i almost collided with a floor cleaner machine and i immediately apologized but the person operating it seemed to have a Scoff type attitude towards me and moved on- I understand its a scary thing But To be fair you cant just Rush around the corner like that so recklessly bestie?”
“The last time I looked in the Kroger section at Walgreens they had some of the fresh baked goods, produce and deli stuff. They no longer have this. You'll pay a premium for anything you buy here but it's easy and quick, in and out, if you just need a few things and can't bear the thought at the mob, the parking lot and the lines at Kroger's. ?”
“Good selection of meats the butcher even told me the days for deals and how he can cut special to my request the store is clean. Couple of stockers really don't speak but l guess that is common. The cashier was very friendly. Each store has different selections though. Definitely a bang for buck if u trying to save”

The price is very reasonable and the korean owner is a good and helpful person. I value his suggestions while looking for products in the store. There is a parking right infront of his store. “I found a hidden gem!!!! I recently moved to the area and I wonder how many people know about this place that don’t live near it?They have way more than just chicken! Yes chicken City has Chicken but also has BEEF PORK and a bunch of other things that you can use for dinner tonight!The prices are great they take Cash, debit, credit card and they even take EBT holy moly that’s pretty awesome! I’m all about helping the community!So if you are in the greater Knoxville area, I say you better check out chicken city in Knoxville Tennessee!!! @chickencity”

“I don't know why food City gets so much hate. Never had any issues there with quality services always been good selection has always good store is always nice and clean and has good prices. It's not high end you're not finding Kobe beef here necessarily but for your weekly grocery stop, it's more than adequate. The Starbucks inside is a nice touch as is the good prices on some plants and things”

“I saw the most heart warming situation here today. The lady running the building came out and pumped an elderly gentleman's gas because he couldn't walk. She had a pleasant smile on her face the whole time. In the middle of helping him another customer had a question to start pumping gas. She never missed a beat and took care of it all. With a smile on her face the entire time. God bless her. She deserves it. This was Clinton Hwy and Emory Rd. Food City gas and go.”

“Not sure why others are complaining . If the owner is there she will absolutely drop everything and help, maybe the negative reviews came when she wasn't there, I've not a problem with food or service since the got rid of a few employees last year.”
