“I always leave with something while going to Five below! Love the slippers and pajamas they have. Ross used to be my go to, but their store has been looking empty these past few months. Shelves empty and women’s section not stocked.”

“I've always encountered friendly employees. They have so much at great prices. They've got rugs flooring books food toys howard linens little bit of clothes and seasonal items all that great prices. It's like a treasure hunt at times too. I enjoyed this by section and the food because they're spices are what you would find at Walmart but a lot of containers are bigger and better prices and you can find things that you won't find at Walmart they're better stocked. Pie fillings lots of pie fillings Cherry Apple Peach blueberry. They got lots of different books for all ages. If you need rugs I got lots of different size rugs at great prices.”
“We went in for stocking stuffers and we were not disappointed. We left with so much more than we had planned for and even then I had to restrain my desire to purchase so much more. Great place to shop, friendly associates and of course great prices. I recommend shopping here!”
“The prices a phenomenal and the selection is great. My biggest complaint is the long wait in line. Only 1 cashier with the manager standing nearby but didn’t help check out customers. I was only 3rd in line but took me 35 minutes to be checked out.”
“Love it here! I get my kiddos toys and fidgets from here all the time. I mean 5 bucks for most things is amazing! I also love the art supply selection. I just got a 2 canvases that are half my height for 5 DOLLARS! Anywhere else and I'd be paying nearly 100.”

“This Dollar General sits on Dickerson Pike close to where Nashville meets Goodlettsville. For the most part, it is your standard DG location from entry to exit. I have popped in here a few times, most recently after a few things I forgot to grab at the grocery store. While DG doesn't carry enough to be a big substitute for food items, the stuff it does carry is pretty solid. I am comfortable picking up snacks, sweets and condiments on a regular basis at DG now. This location seems smaller and a little more cramped than other locations and service can be hit and miss, along with the condition needing a little attention...but overall, decent place to swing through for random or one-off items!”
“I love shopping at Big Lots. The prices are really good. The selections are amazing. The store is a fairly big store, and they have such a variety of merchandise. I especially love shopping at Big Lots during the Christmas Holidays! The staff at the Hermitage store are always happy and helpful. Big Lots has been a favorite of mine since the 90's. They just keep getting better and better. Plus, they have great sales. I love Big Lots!”

“I just stopped in for a few basic items and witnessed a karen giving the manager a hard time about the lack of a return policy. (No returns or credits, exchanges only) The manager was calm the whole time and was very patient with karen. I was tired of hearing karen repeat herself as if the policy was going to magically change. I kindly told her that was the real policy and has been for a long time. Karen continued repeating herself like a broken record player. Karen was wearing a lavender sweater and took up a large amount of space. (I really would love it if karen reads this one day, shame on you). Karen was blocking the entire check out lane as a cashier scanned my items. Near the end of my purchase, I spoke up to karen again, and told her the policy wasn’t going to change. Karen yelled at me about how she was a customer and it wasn’t my business. I corrected her (because Karens have to keep the act up when they’re obviously wrong; they won’t admit their fault) and told her it was my business since she was blocking my ability to pay. She yelled that it wasn’t even time for me to pay as the cashier scanned my last items. By the time she finished that sentence, the cashier had nothing left to scan. Karen did waddle her butt out of the way, but continued to repeat the same act after I left.Karens, Walmart is next door. They have a return policy. Dollar Tree is not for Karens. Actually, no store is for Karens. Shout out to the manager and cashier for being polite to karen.Next time though, an employee should be the one telling non-purchasing Karens to move out of the way so real customers can pay. -1 star for that and other issues I’ve experienced with this location. I should have been treated with the same courtesy that yucky karen received by the manager as well.”
“This place has daily specials till Thursday I believe and it is amazing. $5 today got me a pork chop sandwich and fries and the pork chop was super moist and delicious. I would definitely recommend it. The place inside is pretty cute, you can buy some household goods for anywhere between 1 to $3. There's a little gambling area in the back. It's a neat place.”
“I could spend an entire day in this store. I visited this store growing up but back then foolishly didn’t see much fun in spending a while just browsing the kitchen utensil aisle, ha. Five or so years ago I came back to stock my new home with all the silly things - paper towel holder, ice cream scoop, spatulas and tons of bathroom stuff. Every couple months I’ll pop in just to see what’s new and I really enjoy it! There are great clearance items and more seasonal decor aisles than anywhere else. Also, all my patio folks - come thru bc they’ve got every color cushion you could imagine! Also also, wall art and other decor items for dayssss.
I can’t help but imagine several of the negative reviews are solely based on location, I hope that doesn’t stop anyone from visiting because it’s really such a fun store!”
“So, I have to say that this was the most surprising dollar store I have ever gone in! The outside looks so dumpy that I would have normally not even stepped through the door, but we were curious. Surprisingly, we probably spent the most here than any other dollar store in one visit.
The windows are horrible with cracks that are taped. They have little to no product showing in the store front. But inside, it's packed to the gills, clean and organized. There's tons of ethnic Hispanic merchandise. But if you're looking for party favors, they have a great selection. We were really impressed by the culinary section. So many stainless steel pots, pans, kitchen gadgets. It was so impressive that I took a picture of my husband in that aisle. They also sell tablecloths by the yard - we had one cut for our 10' dining room table. See pics”

“I'm deeply saddened to learn my store is closing. Big Lots has been a staple in my family and our business for over 30 years and I've been a patron at this location for the last 15 years. “This location offers self check out and is well ran with plenty of attractive staff. Pop shelf offers more holiday decor as well as home goods, frozen food and produce than other locations. We call this the "Good Dollar General" ha ha. There is a Dollar General within walking distance (also on Lebanon Road, Next to Post Office) but is often out of items that we prefer to buy from DG. Although the post office location fired all of the staff and remodeled they just don't seem to be able to get it together. Its alot better than it was, at least they are usually open during hours of operation while they were unpredictably closed at any given time. They are often out of milk and other stables. I guess thats a popular location... its unreliable. Go to the Pop Shelf local its worth the extra mile drive.”
