βMy first time shopping here and I really liked it. Big variety of produce and other items. Excellent prices on everything. Some of the dented cans or expired items make me a little leery, but I know that you can usually use something past the date on the package. They had a good selection of blue jeans at wonderful prices! I like the locally made Yoder preserves and pie fillings. Also some unique international items that I picked up. They have some wonderful European chocolates, at unbelievable prices!! The girl at the checkout was very sweet, 10 stars for customer service!β

βAside from this place being a 2 minute drive from home, it is clean, always well stocked, and if you talk to management with issues, Stacy and Amy are more than happy to help you out. I've experienced this on multiple occasions. I love the ladies out here in Hardys Chapel. They work hard to keep the store organized. I'm never tripping over boxes to get what I need. They are on top of that all the time. Unfortunately, i cant say that for every DG I've been in. It's not been easy this year to keep the shelves full but Stacy has made it work. 10/10β
βWe checked in and found a cove for our stay. We had a few minor issues but it was all handled very quickly. Loved the water, and wildlife. Can't wait for next visit.β

βGreat store! Great owners! Sandwiches, coffee, breakfast, and watch their page on facebook because they'll throw some burgers on the grill on occasion. Need bait or your hunting/fishing licence? They've got it. Need to check in your deer or turkey? Do it here. Gas? Even with rising prices they're cheaper than the stores in town. And the guys standing around the counter remind me of the old days when we weren't in an hurry and had time to actually interact with each other.β
βThe best prices on canned goods out of anywhere. Even most local places can't beat them on sale.Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Well-stocked and a very clean store as well.β

But I wanna say the employees here are wonderful & friendly people . Who I will never forget . Roy is such a sweet ,caring kind person . Privilege to have had the opportunity to have met him . And the owner is nice too .β
βWe live out of state but shop regularly at Dollar Generals on the Florida coast through to central Florida and into Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. Without a Shadow of Doubt, the Dollar General Market in Livingston, Tennessee, is BY FAR the nicest, most spacious, most well-stocked, most organized, and the most sparkling clean Dollar General we have EVER been in....cleaner than even Publix Supermarkets. Whenever we are in Livingston, we shop there in absolute amazement. I read these reviews in amusement: you dear Livingston people have NO IDEA how fortunate you are!! You should experience shopping at 95 % percent badly managed stores across the south whose floors have never seen a mop and whose shelves are half empty and stuff crammed so tight in the aisles that a cart can barely traverse. We think Dollar General should bring new manager trainees here to set their standards this high. Get rid of the snippy cashier, manager, and bask in the glory of a job spectacularly done otherwise.β

βIt's very convenient and for the most part very friendly employees, but they never have enough cashiers at the busiest times. There is one cashier that is unfriendly enough that I don't shop if she's working. Other than the unfriendly redhead and lack of enough help, I like shopping there.β

βThe staff is very friendly and helpful and the store is always fully stocked. The only downside is it's sometimes difficult to get around as they are consistently stocking with large boxes sometimes obstructing the aisles. Store is very clean as well.β
βIt's a nice little store it closes too early in the winter & prices are really high but the owners are nice people it reminds me of a little country store where you know everyoneβ
βThe ladies are incredibly helpful and courteous, however the guy who works there is totally opposite. If he were the only employee there I would never enter the store.β

βWe are from Wisconsin and stayed in a local cabin, and went to Scott's for our food needs. Very friendly, very welcoming, great selection. Just a great little store. Will definitely come back next time we stay.β
