“Not at all busy. Plenty of parking for PO Box customers and those needing counter help. Gentleman was friendly and very helpful in helping me get my package boxed up and sent off.”
“Easy to find, and drop off packages. Best part about this place oversized packages your don't have to wait in line to drop off, they leave a bin out front your can dump them in and leave.”
“I had a great trip to the Fountain City Branch today, kind and respectful person tending to my needs. Yes they do tend to cram your mailbox full to the point of things being damaged, which sucks, but I believe this is due to not being allowed to pull into driveways to deliver at the door related to liability. No one wants to take an extra step these days when everyone is so critical, besides dog bites, risk of get shot trespassing, and robberies if they even think of stepping out of their vehicles.
Also, in the past we often had things sent to the wrong homes, but fortunately in our area we just deliver them in person to the correct home, however over time this seems to have lessened, thankfully. I feel this P.O. location has improved over the past year, but obviously the cramming is undesirable.
Also, before your accept all of these reviews as reflective of the employees at this location consider the persons leaving them. I have noticed that several are all or nothing type people. a 1 or a 5 review and nothing in between.”
“I've had a great experience at this USPS location so far. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and both times I visited, I was in and out with no wait—can’t ask for much better than that!
The only downside is the parking lot, which could use a little improvement. It’s not a dealbreaker, but some maintenance would definitely make the overall experience smoother.”
“Easy and convenient though parking was a challenge. I was able to pop in, purchase some postcard stamps, apply them to my Clingmans Dome postcards and drop them in the slot.
There is very limited parking in this part of downtown Knoxville, but I found a quick spot nearby.”

“Great customer service from the woman working there. She helped me when I wasn't sure how to ship out an item since they were out of small flat rate boxes.-1 star because the USPS supplies are minimal.”
“I’m here at least once a week.
Staff are very friendly - I also managed to lose my phone there at the self serve kiosk and got to back safely after the weekend.
I also discovered that if one self serve kiosk does not have a particular service it’s probably usually because it ran out of sticky labels, so just go over to the next one .”
“Needed to do a name change on my passport. Ken that did my passport picture and handled my paperwork was very courteous and thorough about what to expect and if i had problems what to do. He did tell me i was spending too much to expedite my passport since i should have it back before i travel but i decided to go ahead and choose the expedite option. Would recommend to get your passport done here as long as youre on time/early you wont have any problems. I also wasnt liking the first 2 pictures and he patiently retook it for a 3rd time which was awesome.”
