Memphis Central Station is a hotel located within a train station. The hotel is described as beautiful, with a super cool lobby featuring many neat features and nice architectural touches. The rooms are generally reported as clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, equipped with amenities like desks, mini fridges, and big bathrooms, though some note they can feel a bit small with limited counter space. Guests frequently praise the friendly, patient, and helpful staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel. The property offers a nice bar area, an excellent on-site restaurant, and a well-equipped gym. Many appreciate that good food and services are available within the hotel, making it convenient. The overall atmosphere is often quiet, both inside and in the outside area, with good music playing in common spaces. The location is highlighted as being in walking distance to many things and feeling safe. However, some operational issues are noted. These include occasional delays with elevator service, slow front desk response times during busy periods, and follow-through problems with maintenance requests, such as fixing a non-cooling fridge. A rare false alarm incident is also mentioned. The train station itself has limited hours, not opening until the afternoon. While some hallway areas are described as dark and eerie, most guests report a good stay and would readily return, recommending the hotel for its comfort, style, and friendly service.
We had a great round trip great from Memphis to Chicago. I wish I had asked the conductor his name so that I could email someone about him. He was a bald gentleman. He was so nice and really funny. He did a great job greeting us and making us feel comfortable.

I had a friend to loose his wallet and an employee found it and turned it in and another employee contacted us. We were from a different state. We just want to thank everyone. Thank you for you kindness and integrity. 😃

Can be a little confusing because of the beautiful hotel connected to it. Nice station, though.
