“Everything you can’t get at Home Depot you get here. First of all you can get directed to what you’re looking for. Better yet you don’t have to search or wait for someone to help you, and they all are extremely knowledgeable. If you tell them your problem, they will direct you to the proper tools and even assemble them sometimes for you if assembly is required. It’s a friendly local store. It may be 1/10 the size of Home Depot, so there is a trade-off in terms of selection. And they don’t have all of the categories that Home Depot has. But they do get you to the right tools for your project. For handiwork they generally have what I need.”
“I almost lost hope of getting my MacBook Air repaired. I took it to Apple and just about all other repair shops in town and they were not able to help me. The issue was my battery connector needed to be replaced which meant soldering which everyone else said NO or to just replace the entire board which was ridicules. “I bought a Marshall JCM2000 DSL100 from a pawn shop that needed work. I brought it to British Audio. They diagnosed it, installed a matched set of tubes, set the bias, cleaned the scratchy pots and cleaned the contacts. They brought my Marshall back to life and made it a fire breather like it’s supposed to be. I really appreciate their work and will bring my tube amps to their shop for future repairs.”
