“Very cute store, lots of wonderful things to look at, it's alot like a Cracker Barrel store but with more handmade items. Didn't get to talk to the staff because they were quite busy but they did make sure to say hello and bye as we entered and exited”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how nice Food City was versus Kroger and Publix in Pigeon Forge. They had everything there, and it was easy to navigate. We were cooking in our cabin, and they had anything we needed, even last-minute food items.”
“Really good hamburgers. Their cole slaw is pretty good as well. My granddaughter loves the chili dog with cheese and onions. The menu is pretty well priced, for the area. The employees are as nice as could be. Very friendly.”
“On January 2, 2025, we visited your store. We were very much and pleasantly surprised that in the American “outback” there is a small cozy store from our childhood!!! The assortment is also very authentic, and the seller Lyudmila is very friendly and good-natured. “Went one morning here in Pigeon Forge. Had an upset stomach so I decided to go to Publix because they have Gonger Shots for sale 2 for $5 Every Publix I go to is always very clean and lightly lit bright. Big open spaces. Always smells nice in there. They must have been baking something. O did self checkout and the lady acknowledged me and told me to have a good day. .”
“I've been in dollar generals in Alabama Georgia North Carolina and South Carolina and now Pigeon Forge TN.... every single one is the same....beat up cluttered tight isles boxes every where to the point if your on a isle with a buggie and someone else tries coming down the same isle its just not happening and if you dont run into something or get hung up on something its not a dollar general lmao....when me and my wife walked into this store we about had a heart attack lol....first thing you see is just a completely different vision of what you expect....every isle was clean and neat...every shelf the items were fronted and in order and stocked...clean shelves not what you normally would see.... the isles were so clean and open it was insane....I would say this store was kept up and looked better than any of the top grocery stores you go in like a publix... it smelled clean looked clean and for people coming on a vacation and staying near this store on I think is Walden rd right past the marathon gas station and that little Amish store i highly recommend going in this place and getting the items you always need on vacation...Well kept well organized and one of the cleanest DG stores I've ever went in in my life??....GREAT STORE!!!!”

“I am moving to Waynesville N.C. I was please to find they have a Publix since I shop there in Florida but they also have an Ingles Supermarket. I have to say I was blown away by Ingles. The store is absolutely Huge and spotless clean. They have a much bigger variety of items and they even have a cafe by the deli with many tables and a large selection of hot ready to eat foods. I tried the Chinese and it was very good!”
“The roast beef was awesome, but the rest (dessert) was mediocre. City BBQ has much better pack cobbler... why is that? I definately recommend the roast beef with mashed. I've never had better. But stop there. Service was ok, nothing exceptional.”

The line was several sets of people long but the cashier {Cassie} was very fast and extremely efficient and just as calm and kind as she could be!! She handled like a pro with a smile too!
