“I was thinking about purchasing a Tremec 5 speed transmission kit for my 69 Camaro. I watched a video on YouTube where a gentleman said good things about Silver Sport Transmission. I decided to give them a call. I was transferred to salesman, Shane Sullivan. Shane was extraordinary. He willingly answered every question that came to mind. I explained I was in the beginning stages of my search. He understood and asked me to call him if other questions came up.

I spoke with my installer and he brought up several additional questions concerning the install. I reached back out to Shane and within minutes he called me back. He answered all of my additional questions. He again told me to contact him directly with additional questions and provided me his direct email.

Shane and I have corresponded by phone and email numerous times over the past month. He went over and beyond in answering every single question to be sure I was completely satisfied. He wasn’t pushy nor did he try to convince me to purchase their product(s) for my individual kit. For example, the initial quote included a drive shaft. My installer has dealt with a local driveshaft company for years. We determined it was more cost effective to have my driveshaft shortened and balanced locally. Shane understood and readjusted the quote. There was no haggling one way or the other.

It was refreshing to deal with a salesman who was honest, trustworthy, and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy a customer. He was aware of every aspect of the install to my classic car. Needless to say, because of Shane, I made my purchase with Silver Sport Transmission. I highly recommend contacting Shane if you’re thinking about purchasing a transmission for your classic car.

I’ll update this site once I receive the kit. Thanks again Shane, keep up the outstanding work!!”

“Rob and the guys are a wealth of knowledge. Was visiting the are from Florida and needed a few parts while I was in town. The team quickly took time out of their busy day to put together a huge order for me, and Rob even showed me around the museum of a shop they’ve got. I could have spent all day there. The Knoxville area is extremely lucky to have this resource nearby! Thanks again, Christian”
