The two doctors that we always see (Dr Snow and Dr Darden) are literally a couple of the nicest human beings ever. They have been with me through every up and down, helping me give the best care to all my rescues, there for me during the times we have had to lay some of my animals to rest. The empathy, knowledge and kindness is unmatched. There is also a lady at the front desk named Sherry who I feel deserves a special shout out for being incredibly professional and empathetic. She knows what she is doing. The prices are extremely reasonable and cheaper than any other place in the area. I love this place so much on many levels!

I have large dogs, and as for grooming, the groomer knows just how to care for them and the most reasonable rates around. Everyone we have spoken to there has been kind and informative. When we take vacations, they go there and they come home tired and very happy. Due to work schedules, they have not gotten to go to daycare as often as we would like. They do get to go when possible as they love the playtime and pool when it is available.

There is something special about this little shack of a restaurant and the culmination of great food, southern charm and down home hospitality. If you want fine dining and white tablecloths then this place is not for you but if you want real southern style BBQ pork, brisket or ribs without all the pomp and circumstance, then this is needs to top your list of places to visit in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and could not have been any more welcoming. Please do not judge this place on the appearance and pass it by. You will regret your decision. The meats and sides were all delicious and came in generous portions. You will not go home hungry. Our family, multiple generations, have all worked in the restaurant industry and more specifically with a couple of the top rated BBQ restaurants in our hometown area, so we know a thing or two about spotting good BBQ. And without a doubt this is some of the best BBQ you will find in Tennessee.

Preachers Smokehouse
2929 Pittman Center Rd, SeviervilleStaying in Gatlinburg (15 min drive) and hungry for BBQ stopped at a few near town, not impressed (small portions, high prices) enough to stay and eat. Saw Preacher’s Smokehouse on google maps and drove past the arts and crafts row and there it was - plenty of free parking, nice area to eat in plenty of long tables for groups too, casual eats and owners are friendly, honest hardworking people. Had the burnt ends in a savory, sweet bbq sauce which were tender and melted in your mouth, brisket chili just wow! Flavorful, meaty, the chili flavor was right on point, coleslaw nice and sweet, finally chopped perfect with all the meaty goodness. Husband ordered the Brunswick stew (hey too many great choices had to try it) beans and a wonderful savory broth excellent. I ordered their famous banana pudding that was pure heaven so light and fluffy banana pieces, wafer cookies - perfect end to a great meal by wonderful people. Thanks Preachers Smokehouse! Highly recommend.

They do have some lovely flavors. It was here we collected the shirt as the wine trail prize. We were a bit disappointed that Bam said he could not allow us any option on the shirt color. It's a seemingly small thing but folks do have preferences so having options would have been nice.

We were greeted immediately and told to sit wherever we like. The beautiful decor, atmosphere, and open outside seating however made it hard to choose lol. Everyone was extremely welcoming! Our server Stephen B was top notch! He is very educated on the menu. He was very sweet to my daughter and answered all her questions with patience and knowledge. He offered great recommendations and even a sample of an amazing Haddock soup! Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the girls (server) name who has convinced me to go skating now. We had the most amazing time and enjoyed everything that we ordered! I will most definitely be going back and referring to others! Thank you for a wonderful unforgettable first time experience!
