?5/20/2025: A beloved cat friend fell off of a cat tree last night. Her leg was twisted with notable pain. Within 20 minutes of calling Sparta Veterinary Services, Dr. Colwell called back with excellent compassionate advice. We took direction and our friend was stabilized for the night. Arriving at the hospital as they opened this morning our friend was seen and treated immediately. By lunchtime our friend had her broken leg set and we were instructed to pick her up at 4pm.
?We have rescued more than 20 cats and dogs since moving to north Putnam County in 2005. In my opinion Sparta Veterinary Services is the best animal hospital in our region.
7/13 a 5 star experience with our 15+ year old dog friend today.

3069 McMinnville Hwy, SpartaFantastic Vet office! My 11 month old German Shepherd was throwing up blood. I contacted other vet offices and none would see her until the next day. I contacted Bluegrass and even though they were booked for the entire day they went out of their way and let me bring her in to be treated. Thank you all again!!

At Happy Trails Brewery, 38 W Bockman Way, SpartaWe were driving by from Crossville and decided to grab a bite to eat. I have to say the burgers are hands down better than any I have gotten in Crossville. Highly recommend if passing by stop in you won’t be disappointed

Perfect in all marks and my thanks to the chef! I heard an all new waiting staff has now started working! So I plan on another taco Tuesday visit soon!
