“Great store to shop, very clean and well stocked. The best part of shopping here is zero self checkout and you get to interact with humans. It’s nice to have someone to ring up and bag your groceries and not have to do it all your self. There are plenty of places to go to ring up your own stuff and not get paid extra to do it or get price break to do so. Support small town atmosphere and support businesses that still employ cashiers and actual people. Also prices here are really good especially with the mvp card and if you take time to use the app extra deals on there too!! My recent purchase would have been just over 20 bucks and it ended up being 14.21 out the door with the savings.”

“Very nice store! Wish I had one in my town. It's always odd to try to find things in grocery stores that you're not familiar with, but it seemed like the layout made sense. It has selections and options that you don't find in many places. And this story is relatively new so everything is very clean and the management and staff keep it that way.”

“JC is now my second favorite Aldi. The one place where I actually like the self checkout. The scanners are really sensitive and just a slight delay, so I've scanned some groceries twice and had to get help until I learned the rhythm. It's always crowded and packed here, especially with everyone "working from home." Seems to me a passel of 'em are working from the Aldi aisles and parking lot because they're always here! It's a great location, adjacent to the best barbershop in town (L&M). Without giving up ALL of my secrets, I'll just say that there are less crowded Aldi stores, but they don't have the self checkout option, which is fine because watching Aldi checkout magicians at an Aldi store is something to behold. Beware those middle aisles, they're full of great deals and things that I didn't know I needed until I saw them!”
“Ingles is the closest large grocery store near our home, so we frequent this store. They usually have what we want/need in stock. Their quality is good, however we wish they had as good a prepared food bar section as the Ingles in Greeneville, Tn. We also like the Food City prepared food bar selection and quality better. Their bakery is d cent, but Food City is better.”

“It seems that you can find a Dollar General just about anywhere these days. And I don't mind. It's a great place to run in for a few things definitely better than Walmart if you don't have to get alot. They have a large selection of items like a mini-Walmart! But much better!The staff was very helpful and friendly.”
“Update: Price Less now has u-scans, greatly reducing the amount of time you spend in line now. They've also been making some updates, for example the shelf tags are now digitized instead of paper stickers, and they've put up a new sign outside.Good prices, but you have to get there at the right time to not have to wait in a long line. I try to avoid it after 5pm.”

“I shop at the South Roan Street location. From the parking lot to the Isles the store is as clean as a pin. All the products are fresh. Sometimes the prices aren't the best but the product is first rate. Had a couple of problems with mis marked produce and had to return to the store to correct it. Charged for 18lbs of bananas and I only bought 5 bananas total. Manager corrected the problem with a refund. I only gave four stars because the manager was a little rude and didn't apologies for the error.”

“This was not my typical experience with the bakery at Food City but when I went to order a birthday cake no one was anywhere to be found. Someone finally walked by and asked to help. She took our order but everything we asked if they could put on the account she said no. When I went to pick it up me and another lady waited a good 10 mins with multiple employees walking past us several times and not 1 offered any assistance. I finally called them from my cell while standing at the bakery. He tells me they are already gone for the day. When I asked what time they would be in he replied "early". The cake was good but it was definitely the plainest $25 cake I've ever had.”

“A spacious parking lot and Murphy's Gas station. This store is NOT a super center like most. It is small and rememicent of the non grocery centers. The grocery side is the best part to me. Smaller than others it is easy to find anything on list.”
